The Flintstone Comedy Hour (1972)
Groovey Flinstone Show
This Hanna-Barbera show was done in style, similar to ''Filmation's'' ''Groovy Ghoulies'', as every episode brings one song performed by ''Bedrock Rockers''who are Bam-Bam, Pebbles and Moonrock. Episodes are cool, laid back, and animation itself is better a little bit than in regular ''Flintstones'' series. Atmosphere that this series carries can be a nostalgic a little bit, as there are no any cartoons of this kind any more. Time in which this cartoon was made can be felt during the watching, as all the characters are totally in that hippie, groovy mood of the seventies. Over all, ''Flintstone Comedy Hour'' is nice TV show, done in sympathetic animation and filled with occasionally good gags and cool and rocking'/psychedelic songs.
ON: Live at Geiba (2004)
Great comedy and documentary
Was it just on purpose or spontaneously created silly, this little musical documentary is real sweet. In 30 minutes of its running time, we're about to see one of few live and rare performances of ON, recorded in visual form. Through out this movie we witnessing the hilarious behavior of its performers and actors, and totally messy but yet coherent and good interviews with ON, who's explaining his musical influences, origin of his style, the way he writes the songs and feel for the importance of creation. Thus the video was recorded with only one camera, it came up very effective and alive.
At the end, this video in form of art is very good and funny, and therefor should not been considered and adopted as something 100% serious, but essential and yet comical, instead.
