Megamind (2010)
1/10
Dreamworks Worst.
26 March 2011
I bought Megamind at WAL-MART and I must say that I didn't like it. I personally think that it's the worst animated movie that Dreamworks has made. The plot was kinda weird the villain wants to take over the world but then turns good after falling in love with a girl. The characters weren't very funny and the animation wasn't great. All in all I believe that this is just a rip off of The Incredibles and I don't think that Dreamworks should of ever made this movie! It's definitely their worst! It's nowhere as good as Shrek or Madagascar. So if you're a fan of Dreamworks I suggest that you don't see this movie because you won't like it and you'll just be wasting your money. Thumbs down for me.

Pretty Woman (1990)
10/10
Great Movie
9 February 2011
I've watched the movie Pretty Woman many times and must say it's a pretty good movie. Richard Gere gives a good performance as a business man named Edward Lewis who hires a prostitute named Vivian Ward to stay the week with him at his hotel for the week while he's on business. Julia Roberts I thought gave an excellent performance as Vivian and I don't think any other actress could of done it better. The rest of the cast gave good performances I thought such as Jason Alexander playing Edward's lawyer Phil and Hector Elizondo did an excellent job playing the hotel manager Barney Thompson. I also thought that the late Ralph Bellamy gave a good performance as the role of James Morse who is the owner of the company who Edward is trying to buy. The film also has very funny scenes and jokes in it one of my favorites being when Vivian's friend Kit De Luca played by Laura San Giacomo makes a comment to an old couple in the hotel. All in all the film is a great comedy fairy tale that'll be one the whole world will enjoy again and again. 10 out of 10.

Tom and Huck (1995)
10/10
Good Movie
28 January 2011
I saw Tom and Huck about 15 years ago and I must say It was a Pretty Good Movie. The plot was pretty good about two boys named Tom Sawyer and Hucklberry Finn who go out to find a murder named Injun Joe who murdered the doctor of their town and framed their friend Muff Potter for the crime. The movie was just really great and had a lot of funny scenes in it including the scene where Tom and Huck disguise themselves in mud to hide from Injun Joe. Jonathan Taylor Thomas, whom I think is one of the most gifted child actors ever did a fantastic job playing Tom Sawyer and the late Brad Renfro did a fantastic job as Huck Finn. Both actors bought good performances to their characters and child actress Rachael Leigh Cook I thought did a good job as Tom's love interest Becky Thatcher. And actor Eric Schweig I thought gave a good performance as the villainous Injun Joe. Disney couldn't of cast a better actor to play the role. I say that Tom and Huck is a Great Disney Movie that the whole family must see. I give it a 10 out of 10.

Pretty Good Movie
3 January 2011
I must say that George of the Jungle is a Pretty Good Movie. I really liked it. Brendan Fraser gave an excellent performance as a man named George who grows up in the jungle after being separated from his family from a plane accident when he was a baby. The rest of the cast give good performances and there are a bunch of hilarious scenes in the movie. I really liked the character of the Ape named Ape and John Cleese I thought gave a good voice performance to the character. I don't think any other actor could of voiced the character better. Filled with good characters, a good story, and hilarious scenes. George of the Jungle is a good movie that anyone can enjoy! I give it 10 out of 10!

Pretty Funny
3 January 2011
I bought Ernest Scared Stupid a few years ago at WAL-MART and I must say I found it to be funny. In the movie Ernest (Jim Varney) releases a 200 year old troll that turns kids into dolls. I found the movie to be hilarious especially in the scene when Ernest is working on the garbage truck and everything goes wrong. Jim Varney gave such a good performance as goofy old Ernest and Eartha Kitt gave a good performance as Old Lady Hackmore. I also must say the troll was pretty scary. That thing freaked me out when I saw it on the screen! Filled with hilarious scenes and laughs Ernest Scared Stupid is a true Halloween Film anyone can enjoy! Jim Varney was such a Great Comic Talent who is no longer with us. I give the movie 10 out of 10.

Good Movie
28 December 2010
I must say The Parent Trap is a good movie. I remember my two cousins Lacey and Marissa taking me to see it when it came out and I was worried that I might not like it because it's a girls' movie and I'm a guy but I'm glad that they took me to see it because I really enjoyed it. The plot was pretty good about two girls named Annie and Hallie who were separated at birth and meet each other at camp and plan to get their parents back. I thought Lindsay Lohan gave a good performance playing both of the twins. No one else could of done it better and I also thought that Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson gave good performances as the twins' parents. I also thought that Elaine Hendrix gave a good villainous performance as the snobby gold digger Meredith Blake who tries to marry the twins' father. The films also has a lot of hilarious scenes that'll have you laughing really hard. All in all The Parent Trap is a good movie that the whole family can enjoy. 10 out of 10.

George of the Jungle 2 (2003 Video)
1/10
Not a good sequel
28 December 2010
I must say that George of the Jungle 2 wasn't a good film at all. The plot was okay but it just didn't have the heart of the first film in it and the casting wasn't so good. The new actor playing George didn't do a good job playing the role as Brendan Frasier did. The new actor I thought played the role kinda stupidly and not intelligently and the rest of the new cast just didn't seem to fit the original cast although I did like Angus T. Jones playing Junior. He's a pretty good Child Actor but the rest of the film to me was just stupid. If you like the first George of the Jungle movie don't bother watching this cheesy sequel! It's pretty dumb and not all that good. 1 out of 10.

Excellent Movie.
28 December 2010
I remember going and seeing this with my Kindergarden class when this came out and I must say I really enjoyed it. Glenn Close gave a wonderful performance as Cruella De Vil and I don't think that Disney could of casted a better actress. Joely Richardson and Jeff Daniels both gave good performances as Anita and Roger and I also thought that Hugh Laurie and Mark Williams gave good performances as Jasper and Horace. The plot was really good and seemed to live up to the original 1961 cartoon. I liked that they made Roger a video game designer and that he designed Cruella as the villain for his new video game at the end. There were lots of funny scenes from both the dogs and some other animals that appeared in the film. In all a good film that the whole family can enjoy and John Hughes did a good job writing the screenplay just like he did for some other of his films such as Home Alone. All in all 101 Dalmatians is a great family movie that anyone can love. 10 out of 10.

Not as good as the first
7 December 2010
I'd hate to say it but I didn't find Babe: Pig in the City to be as good as the first movie. The plot was okay but it just didn't seem to live up to the original. Mrs. Hoggett and Babe go off to the city to rescue the farm. I was rather disappointed that Babe wasn't accompanied by Rex and Fly in this one and that they're roles were shorter than in the first. I sorta found the whole thing with the animals in the hotel kinda funny but weird. The whole movie just seemed kinda childish and not as good as the first. It just doesn't live up to the first one. If you were a fan of the first movie like me I suggest that you don't watch this movie! It's just not as good as the first movie! I give it a 1 out of 10.

Very Good Baseball Movie
1 December 2010
I just watched Rookie of the Year on the Disney Channel and let me tell you. It's a great kids baseball movie about a boy named Henry who gets on the Chicago Cubs Baseball Team! Thomas Ian Nicholas did a good job playing the boy Henry. Daniel Stern couldn't of cast a better child actor to play that role. The rest of the cast gave good performances such as Gary Busey playing the player Rockie and Eddie Bracken did a good job playing the Cubs owner. I also liked John Candy's hilarious performance as the announcer for the games. And Daniel Stern also gave a good performance as the goofy player Phil Berquist. In my opinion that's one of his greatest and funniest roles next to Marv in the Home Alone movie series. Filled with hilarious scenes and a great story and great characters Rookie of the Year is a Great Baseball Movie that any Baseball fan could love. Young or Old. I give it a 10 out of 10.

Good film
26 November 2010
I thought Beverly Hills Cop III was a good film and Murphy gave a good performance as Axel Foley in it but I was rather disappointment with the absent of John Taggert. Hector Elizondo gave a good performance as Detective Flint but his character just didn't seem to fit up there with Taggert. Alan Young I thought gave a good performance as Uncle Dave the park owner and I loved the cameo by Robert B. Sherman in the bar but I think the film would of been better and liked by more people if Taggert came back and maybe they had more cop comedy in it They kinda turned this movie into a kid comedy like film than a cop film. All in all a good movie and great action I give Beverly Hills Cop III an 8 out of 10.

Toy Story 3 (2010)

I love it.
26 August 2010
I loved Toy Story 3. It was really great. It lives up to the first 2 movies. In this adventure Woody and the gang wind up in a preschool after their owner Andy leaves for college. I loved the new characters including Stretch the purple octopus voiced by Whoopi Goldberg. The plot was pretty good, the characters were great, and the animation was so beautiful it just blows you away. The only thing that I was disappointed about was replacing Jim Varney with Blake Clark which I don't think Pixar should of done. They should of written Slinky Dog out but that's just my opinion. All in all Toy Story 3 was really great and lives up to the first two films. I recommend it for anyone. 10/10. Good job again Pixar.

Jim gave a final good performance but this isn't as good as the other movies.
26 August 2010
I've always have loved Jim Varney's movies. He was a great actor and one of my heroes and he did good with the character of Ernest. I bought this movie on DVD at Downtown Disney and watched it. I thought that Jim gave a good performance and the plot seemed good but it didn't seem as good as the other Ernest films which I think what the problem was with this one was that they edited too much of Jim's scenes in this movie because I think during the production of this one was when he was starting to get sick with the cancer. Some of the movie was funny and it was pretty cool to see John R. Cherry III act as Ernest's buddy Ben but all in all it just didn't seem to fit the other Ernest movies in my opinion but Jim Varney did a good job playing Ernest one last time. R.I.P. JIM VARNEY 1949-2000! MY HERO!

An excellent film
26 August 2010
Always is an excellent film. Richard Dreyfuss gives a great performance as Pete a fire pilot who loses his life but comes back in his spiritural body and helps a young pilot played by Brad Johnson become a good pilot. He also manages to tell his girlfriend played by Holly Hunter that he loves her which he could never do when he was alive. Always is a film that is really great! It really explains death and I recommend it for anyone. Richard Dreyfuss, Holly Hunter, Brad Johnson, and John Goodman all gave performances as well did Audrey Hepburn making her final performance in this movie as Hap the Head Angel. Steven Spielberg did great with this film which I think is one of his bests along with Hook and Jurassic Park. I give Always 10/10.

Balto (1995)

A Great Animated Tale Based on a True Story
13 September 2009
I thought Balto was an excellent animated film made by Amblin Animation! The story was great about a grandmother telling her granddaughter in NEW YORK CITY a cartoon tale about her growing up in Alaska in 1925 and how she fell into a deep illness and how a wonderful wolf dog named Balto voiced by Kevin Bacon went on a rescue mission to get the medicine and saved her life! The animation was just wonderful! It just blows you away! The characters were wonderful and so was the voice cast! Bob Hoskins from Who Framed Roger Rabbit and HOOK I thought did a great job voicing Boris Balto's best friend and singer Phil Collins I thought did a good job as polar bears Mok and Lok! And terrific actress Bridget Fonda daughter of Peter Fonda I thought did a beautiful job voicing Balto's love interest Jenna! Filled with wonderful animation, great characters, and a great story based on a true story Balto is a great family film the only family can enjoy! 10 out of 10!

Dreamworks SKG at their best
4 September 2009
The Road to El Dorado is a great movie! Possiably Dreamworks SKG at their best! A great movie about two men named Tulio and Mugel who go looking for the New World and gold! Kenneth Branagh and Kevin Kline did a fantastic job playing Mugel and Tulio! I wouldn't of picked any better actors to play the two! Jim Cummings did a good job voicing Cortes! One of my personal favorites in the voice acting business! Elton John did a fantastic job writing the music for this family film just like he did for The Lion King! Trail We Blaze is my favorite song! The animation was just unbelievable and was very wonderful! Dreamworks SKG did a good job with this 2-D animated film! I also believe that they proved that other animated studios besides Walt Disney Studios can do good with 2-D Animation! The Road to El Dorado is a true family film the whole family can enjoy! 10 out of 10!

A Great Dinosaur Adventure of the 1960s
19 August 2009
I just saw this 1960s version of The Lost World and I must say it's pretty amazing! It's like the Jurassic Park of the 1960s. In the movie a professor in London England decides to prove his theory about seeing dinosaurs in a Lost World by taking a group of explorers on an expedition to the Lost World where they not only find dinosaurs but a group of Natives as well! The dinosaurs I thought were just wonderful! I was just blowing away with them and the actors and actresses gave wonderful performances. I think Sir. Arthur Conan Doyle who wrote the novel of the same name would of been pretty proud of this film adaption of his novel! It's a true dinosaur classic 10 out of 10!

A pure imagination of a classic
17 August 2009
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory in my opinion is a true pure imagination of a classic. It was a wonderful film based on Roald Dahl's story about five kids who win a trip to the greatest chocolate factory in the world. Gene Wilder in my opinion was a fantastic Willy Wonka. I wouldn't of choice no one better for the role! I'm glad that Mel Stuart cast him in that role! I also liked Jack Albertson as Grandpa Joe. Albertson also I think did a fantastic job singing Golden Day! It was a shame that Roald Dahl didn't like the adoption because I think it's one of the most wonderful film adoptions of a great story ever! I'm glad that Mel Stuart's daughter Madeline Stuart told him to make this wonderful movie! Thank you Mel Stuart for making Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory! It's a true classic right up there with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and The Wizard of Oz! 10 out of 10!

Good sequel but sad
13 August 2009
Pocahontas II Journey to a New World was a good sequel but kinda sad. In the movie Pocahontas learns that John Smith has died and that the King of England wants to meet her father or else declare war on the Natives. In order to keep the peace between the Jamestown Settlers and the Native Americans Pocahontas decides to travel to England with her friends Percy, Flit, and Meeko. She falls in love with John Rolfe who was sent by the King to bring the Chief back! Once in England Pocahontas attends the Hunt Ball where Ratcliffe (David Ogden Stiers)sets a trap for her which gets her in trouble with the King and she is sent to the London Tower! John Rolfe helps Pocahontas escape from the tower with the help of a mysterious stranger who winds up to be John Smith and it is revealed by Smith that he was set up for treason by Ratcliffe in order to get war on the Natives and that's why he pretended to be dead so it's up to Pocahontas, Smith, Rolfe, and the animals to go back and stop Ratcliffe once and for all! It was a good sequel and I'm glad that Disney stayed with History but I was rather sad that Pocahontas chose Rolfe at the end instead of Smith which I cried when I found out! I think they should of made Pocahontas get together with Smith instead of Rolfe even though that's not how it really happened! It's a good sequel but if you're looking forward to seeing Smith and Pocahontas at the end then I suggest you don't watch it because it'll make you sad! I give it 7 out of 10!

The most Awful Sequel ever!
13 August 2009
I must say Home Alone 4 Taking Back the House was the most awful sequel I've ever seen! The plot was dumb. Kevin's parents split up and Marv and his wife plan on robbing the house of Kevin's father's girlfriend! I think they should of made a Home Alone where Macauly Culkin and the original cast could return like Home Alone: Going Off to College where Kevin (Macauly Culkin) and his cousin Fueller (Kiera Culkin) are now grown up and decide to go to college together and Marv and Harry (Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci) finally get out of jail for robbing houses and breaking out and robbing toy stores and this time Harry and Marv plan to rob the college that Kevin and Fueller are attending so Kevin and Fueller decide to trap them with traps and send them back to jail! If you are a fan of the first two Home Alone movies like me I recommend that you don't watch this because you'll hate it! I know I hated it! 1 out of 10!

A GREAT Disney FLIK!
13 August 2009
I love The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It's a great animated feature from Disney adopted from the novel by Victor Hugo of the same name. In the movie Quasimodo is a bellringer who lives in the church of Notre Dame and who is forbidden by his foster father Frollo because due to his half form but with the help of his gargoyle friends Hugo, Victor, and Laverne he disguises himself and goes to the Festivel of Fools and befriends Esmeralda and Captain Pheobus who help him and the other people to understand about people who are different and they also help defeat Frollo and his evil ways. I really loved the songs for the movie written by Alan Menken who I think is one of the greatest Disney song writers of our time! I loved the scene when Laverne the gargoyle called Hugo the other gargoyle the fat stupid one with the BIG Mouth! I just died laughing at that scene! Mary Wickes did a fantastic job voicing Laverne before dieing in October 1995. I'm sure she would of loved this movie because I know I did! I recommend it for any Disney fan because it's really good! 10 out of 10!

A great sequel!
3 August 2009
I'm a big fan of The Land Before Time Series. I think they're better sequels than the All Dogs Go to Heaven sequels even though I'm kind of upset that Don Bluth didn't have any involvement in them because I think he's a wonderful animator and storyteller. In this sequel Littlefoot and his friends after reaching the Great Valley sneak off one night because they're upset of their parents treating them like babies. While they're talking about their parents they witness two egg thieves named Ozzy and Strut steal an egg from Ducky and Spike's nest and chase them into the Mysterious Beyond but when they get the egg they realize that it's not theirs and wait for it to hatch. The egg hatches into a baby sharptooth in which Littlefoot names Chomper and he and his friends raise Chomper but soon Chomper's Parents arrive in the Great Valley and Littlefoot and his friends must return him to them before their parents close the opening to the Mysterious Beyond! Filled with wonderful characters, animation, and songs (My favorite being Peaceful Valley) Land Before Time 2 Great Valley Adventure is a great sequel any of the Land Before Time fans can enjoy! 10 out of 10!

3RD Adventure Really Great!
3 August 2009
I thought the 3RD Land Before Time movie was a great sequel to the first and second movies. In this adventure Littlefoot and his friends must find water after the water dries up in the Great Valley and they must deal with dinosaur bullies Hyp, Mutt, and Nod. I think this sequel was the best out of all the Land Before Time. I loved the dinosaur bullies especially Mutt because he was the one who was really slow and dumb witted and his friends would always have to get him to agree with them and he would say Oh! Uh yeah! Pretty funney! I also liked their song When You're Big! Pretty cool Bully song! I also liked the song Cera's Dad sang Stand Tough! John Ingle sang it pretty good! Also the boy who provided the voice of Littlefoot did a good job singing Kids Like Us which I thought was good in teaching about giving kids especially bullies another chance at being good kids! Filled with great animation, story, and music Land Before Time III Time of the Great Giving is a perfect sequel any Land Before Time fans can enjoy 10 out of 10!

A great sequel!
27 July 2009
I think Home Alone 2 Lost in New York is a great sequel to the first Home Alone movie! In this sequel Kevin McCallister is planning to go on a trip to Miami Florida with his family but accidentally gets separated from them at the airport and accidentally gets on a plane to New York City. Once in NYC Kevin checks himself into the Plaza Hotel but the next day his father's credit card is discovered stolen by the Concear (Tim Curry) who scares Kevin away from the hotel! Upon escaping the hotel Kevin learns that the burglars who broke into his house Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) have broken out of jail and are planning to rob the toy story owned by Mr. Duncan (Eddie Bracken) who Kevin visited before getting scared away from the hotel and who gave Kevin two turtle doves! With the help of some new traps and a kindly homeless Bird Woman (Brenda Fricker) Kevin traps the burglars again and sends them back to jail where they belong! Filled with wonderful new characters and a lot of laughter and humorous Home Alone 2 Lost in New York City is a great sequel the whole family can enjoy! 10 out of 10!

A great family film!
27 July 2009
Home Alone is a great family film that is pretty funney! In the movie Kevin McCallister(Macauly Culkin) hates being the youngest member of his big family! On the night before his family plans to take holiday trip to Paris Kevin gets in trouble and is sent to the third floor. While there Kevin wishes for his family to disappear and in the morning gets his wish as his family leaves in a hurry to get to the airport and leaves Kevin home alone! Kevin enjoys being home alone but soon feels bad for the way he acted towards them and misses them! He also learns that two burglars named Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) are planning to break into his home and that he must defend his house with traps for the burglars! My favorite scene in the movie is where Harry and Marv finally meet each other in the house after walking through several of Kevin's traps and Harry asks Marv Why the hell ya take your shoes off? And Marv asks Harry Why the hell ya dressed like a chicken? I just died laughing at that scene! Filled with wonderful laughter and humor Home Alone is a true family movie that the whole family can enjoy! I laugh every time I see it! 10 out of 10!
