The current state of The US, The World without God...
27 November 2021
The fact that this movie has over 52% 1-star reviews is a reflection of just how godless this great Nation has become. Those on the Left have used the naysayers, and it shows every single day. Whether you believe in God or not isn't the question. God allows us each freewill. We either accept His Son as our Saviour and prosper, live life Eternal... or there are those who do not and will soon find out how horrible Eternal separation from God is. If you're relying on George Soros, The Clinton's for divinity, you're looking in the wrong place. This country was founded to escape religious persecution that our British forbearers sought to escape. Our Founding Fathers did however have this Nation founded on Godly and religious principles that Liberals are trying to erase. That's not going to happen, and that needs to be clearly understood. Without God, there is no United States, no World worth living in. But again, based on these ratings, there are many people who will find this out the hard, painful way. I will pray for those of you to turn to the truth of the Word of God. To allow Jesus Christ in your hearts as your personal Saviour. Then, and only then will there be peace. This must be clearly understood.

Believe it or not, this IS God's plan, and His Will be done...
27 November 2021
While the movie may not have "A-list" actors, its makes a movie of this nature more authentic. Now facing the Book of Revelation, the low review ratings come as no surprise. The Leftists have done everything in their power to remove God, religion, and well, we have a world gone to hell as a result. You can thank Soros, The Clintons... many other billionaire Liberals who have played so many like a fine tuned violin. While there is still time, I pray that people open their hearts to this message. Now more than ever. Without God, accepting His free blessing of Salvation, there is no turning back once you draw your last breath in this life. Many will scoff at the idea, and God allows us all freewill. Just keep in mind this offer must be accepted before this life ends, and not after. Those left behind will have a second opportunity to repent, accept Christ, but the difficulties the world will be facing will be unspeakably horrific. If you think the Covid Pandemic is bad, this is just a minute smidgen of what is to come without God in our lives. I pray that everybody who reads this message takes a moment to pray, draw close to God, accept Christ as your personal Saviour. The choice is yours. I pray that you make Jesus Christ a priority in your lives. We've tried the worldly way and you can see how divided that its made us all. Please consider allowing God into your life and see what a difference He makes. May God bless us all.

Milk (I) (2008)

The only activist that I would come to befriend...
17 March 2019
While I've heard and read about the rumours surrounding Harvey Milk, I can't say that I'm stunned to say most were all false... This man, this inspiration to millions of people was so much larger than any movie could ever capture - this film comes the closest to it. I'm gay, with a Partner of 15 years and while our Conservative leanings differ somewhat, Harvey Milk is probably the only activist that I would be proud to call an extended member of my family. The risks that he took to combat the issues the ultimately gave rise to the rights of millions was selfless, heroic and dignified, opening eyes and hearts to the fact that we are all Human Beings, we're all different, and we're all beautiful, and that we can coexist in a way that is beneficial to each of us. Bigotry will always exist, unfortunately... But when we all work together toward a common goal, to promote a peaceful and loving World, we all gain from the work that is not always easy. But nothing easy is really worth the fight, and the fruits of those fights never last long. As Neil Peart is quoted saying, "Dedicated to the future, with honour to the past." A well done account of the lives of Harvey Milk and so many others whos contributions will forever be among us.

One of my favorites...
10 March 2011
I love this movie. It might not be the best of Willie Nelson, Jack Elam, Delta Burke - I think that it's a fun Western adventure that I enjoy watching. This movie is up there on my favorite list with the Gunsmoke made for TV movies, Once Upon A Texas Train, etc. For a number of these great actors, like Jack Elam, Richard Widmark, to name a few, these made for TV Westerns were the last of their movie careers. I wish the networks would make a more of these types of movies, because the Western frontier is such an important part of American History. I just bought the movie on DVD, which has been hard to find. I give this movie 10 stars and 2 thumbs up!!!

The Mudge Boy (2003)

One of the most emotional movies I've ever seen...
4 July 2010
Having grown up in New York State, my "coming of age" and "out of the closet" was quite an experience. While my experience wasn't necessarily an easy one, after seeing this movie, it angers me to think that there are other gay men (and women) who are (or have) had to endure the pain, bigotry and humiliation that the main character did. This movie gave me a completely new perspective on how society has been a complete and utter failure to so many people. I wish I had the resources to help out everyone in need who is going through what "Duncan" is/has gone through. Life wasn't meant to be so painful, lonely and empty - and after watching this flick, I have no idea how the "Heartland" got its name... These so called "Church going" bigots and "good old boys" are more of an abomination than any of the worst sins that I can think of, and some day these bottom feeders will face their maker, for the hell they put so many innocent people through.

Truly a heartbreaking film that will open your eyes, and one that you will never forget.

Absolute Zero (2006 TV Movie)

Absolute trash
22 March 2009
Honestly, this was without a doubt one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I don't know what was worse - the fact that it was a pay per view movie on Cox, or the movie in general for being so terrible. I think it would save time to point out the good parts of the movie... simply put, there are none. It was a nice touch though - Ontario plates for a movie taking place in Miami... like I said - absolute trash. I admire the fact that Canada lends itself to the motion picture industry. But for God's sake, can you try and round up some people that can act? Honestly, Tim Hortons isn't necessarily the place to find actors for a movie that you've invested time and money into. I can't fathom what the producers were thinking to allow this trash to be released to the public. It should have been rated "F" for failure.

Wise Guys (1986)

Thank you Mr. Acavano!
22 March 2009
One of the funniest and entertaining mob flicks I have ever seen. The talented Danny De Vito and Joe Piscopo shine in Wise Guys with a ton of laughs. But what totally made this movie for me was Captain Lou... The Fixer. His character was da bomb - a rough, foul mouthed, tough guy that was always ready to kick some donkey :o) The trouble these guys get into and how they try to solve the problems with da boss is really something else haha.

I see a lot of lower ratings on the film here on the site... don't let those low ballers fool you. This movie is a classic, with a ton of legendary Hollywood talent that you should check out if you have the opportunity to do so.
