Something so Bad can be so Good!
6 February 2006
This is one of those movies you love to hate! Simple revenge story, with bad editing and even worse Dubbing!! you have to hear it to believe it!! it's just awesome. Dragon Lee stars as Golden Dragon and kicks ass the entire movie, fighting scenes are pretty good and sometimes pretty brutal! especially the last 35 minutes,The final battle, were he takes on like 20Hench man,and beats the crap out of them(Jackie Chan style) This movie even has a bad guy with a (gay)Cat!!What do you want more? So If you like the really cheesy (badly dubbed) Hong Kong movies, this one is a must have!! just enjoy it with a couple of friends and some beers, this one's Wicked!!

Lock Stock and much more fun!
4 February 2006
OK,they replaced almost everybody from the original film! but i have to say the new cast is just Awesome!! This is the stuff we want to see on TV/DVD! fast, funny, hard!! a lot of foul language and pretty good action scenes! every episode stands on it's own so you get 7 great lock stock adventures, and they are all good. The soundtrack is also great and is edited perfectly into the scenes. The coolest about the series is that the bad guys are so funny(as in almost all of ritchíe's) Especially Miami Vice is great(mister big gangster) he has only one Hench man haha!!! so if you like movies like Lock stock and Snatch you will love this!!!

Extreme as expected from Van Gogh
4 February 2006
This is Theo Van Gogh's first full length movie! And its a very strange one indeed!! Low budget film noir, with some very bad editing(especially in the beginning)but does have some good acting. Thom Hoffman(also his first film) shows he has everything to become a big star, he's just glowing in the role of Luger!! I do have to say that this isn't that good of a movie, but you have to see it to believe it! it has some of the sickest Humor i have ever seen!! This is not for the weak, very raw!! Theo Van Gogh him self didn't like the movie at all, what catapulted his relationship with Hoffman from best friends to his arch Enemy! Must See Material for Van Gogh Lovers!!!

Latin flavor, Thai heat!
4 February 2006
Just finished this B- action movie. and i have to say i liked it a lot!! Echavaria show he is indeed the new J.C. Van Damme(Average acting, Great fight scenes)But the coolest part has to be the chemistry between Echavaria and Kong Li(Kickboxer's Tong Po)They Try to Copy the Rush hour routine and succeed. Some scenes are very funny!! especially the car scene, Were echavaria Gives a great ricky martin impression(i laughed my ass off) you have to keep in mind that this was a pretty low Budget production, so all the credits go to the actors who really keep this one moving!! The direction is pretty good and especially the fight scenes at the end are the best i've seen in years! Latin Flavor All The WAY

Jean Claude is the name revenge the Game!
22 January 2006
Finally Van Damme has done it! After the (train)Disaster movie derailed. he has something he can be proud of. This is one very underrated prison movie, with some nice special FX and a very decent story! the acting is also solid(Van Damme is pretty convincing)and even one of the best performances i've seen in years(in an Action movie)By Mister Lawrence Taylor(one of the greatest Football players ever!!) Who did a great job with the voice over, his voice is very gritty and full of life!!The direction is also very solid(as expected) Ringo Lam is a very good action director, Who always comes up with very clever camera work and usual very innovative fight scenes!!! This is Must See material(once again) for all the Van Damme\prison movie Fans

Average TV movie from (B) action star Stephen Baldwin
21 January 2006
Just another average(made for TV) movie with Stephen Baldwin(as we expect from him)It has some nice explosions but overall its a bit shallow. The acting is just above average(although its clearly they all did it for the cash only). the story is not really exciting and has no surprises(yeah, all the clichés off bombing movies are in it). i must say i've seen much better(backdraft) but also much worse(ticker). The directing is just very average but for a B movie good enough! They picked some nice areas to film(I think it's filmed in Canada) So if you ain't got nottin to do and it's on TV you could give it a try!! But only if you have really nottin to do,OK!!

Banderas = ZORRO
21 January 2006
Banderas returns as Zorro in the sequel of the new series! and i have to say. He did it again. the movie looks great and the action scenes are awesome(although i sometimes have the feeling he looks more like Batman then Zorro)I think the 2nd movie is certainly as entertaining as the first(who i thought was a little flat) and it's always a treat to see Banderas and Zeta Jones on the same screen!! they are really made for each other(in the movies)and then the kid! who are usually the big problem in major blockbusters, but this kid can do it,he looks like a miniature Jackie Chan when he's fighting and gives credibility to his role as the son of Zorro. So if you want to see a good ol' action adventure, this ones definitely for you

Lock stock and smokin' lot of fun!
21 January 2006
Guy Ritchie scores! With his first full length feature. In the first 20 minutes Ritchie shows he has the class Tarantino and Scorsesse combined!! This must be the greatest English gangster movie since Get Carter. The plot is solid and so are the actors. the casting is just great,he took the meanest looking guys and oh my god they can act! and then we have to talk about the 1 liners, this movie has so many classic one liners that you'll need five hands to keep track of them The music is awesomely hip and well chosen and if you have a 5.1 system you have to turn it up to the maximum to really enjoy this movie!!! this is what movie making is all about! A true classic

Take the ride!
14 January 2006
Spielberg was really in Top form with this one! This must be one of the best cgi/live action movies to date(2005)!!! everything about this movie is just awesome!! Special fx are still holding strong(after 13 years) acting is really solid, even the small parts(anybody remember Samuel L Jackson, hahaha)and of course i'll never forget the scene where the t-rex comes to the car and you see curves in the water of a glass, typical Spielberg. And then the dinosaurs!Groundbreaking. From this moment on we saw that computer images also could act!Very convincingly!! The entire movie plays like a Theme park ride(but the movie was first!!) So Get On Board and Take this Ride over and over again. Must See Material!!!

Sutherlands moment to shine!!
11 January 2006
Wow what a series!! And it keeps getting better with the year! It's an old concept (the real time thing) can you remember Nick of time(Johnny Depp)? But this is so much much mucho more better!! everything is worked out so well and the story lines are so huge, no big love story's so it really keeps the pace in the whole thing, And then the acting. I've never seen Sutherland in such a form as in 24. the supporting cast is really solid especially president Palmer! I think he is the discovery of the last few years!! GRADE A Oscar Material. I've seen a lot of series but this must be the best action/thriller series(if you even want to call this a series) i've ever seen!!! so if you like movies like the bourne identity/supremacy, clear and present danger or even James Bond! you gotta have this!!

You Gotta Love This!!
11 January 2006
The Invisible man is a show everybody s gotta love! It reminds me of the old school 80's series(a-team,airwolf,knightrider) The special effects are small but very effective!! but what is most important is the fun they had shooting this series. It really shows! the entire cast fit perfect in there roles and it looks like they can do whatever they want!! especially Paul Ben Victor and Vincent Ventresca. Ventresca really shines in this one! for me its unbelievable that an actor with so much sarcasm is his acting style Doesn't get a shot in a big movie (mr Tarantino this was the show you should have directed! instead of that major boring grave danger(c.s.i)) Get this show if you can. well worth it!!!

Van Damme's Dark Side
10 January 2006
Wow!! thats the first thing you'll say, when you see Van Damme the first time in the movie!! The film is very stylized (Pang brothers,John Woo) but also very gritty and has some really tough and violent action scenes! What really is the best part of the movie has to be the acting!! the cast is outstanding!!! Even the small children(who usually very corny) give a great effort! Van Damme is more the silent force(lots of close ups) But you can feel his pain! This movie is really a step up for Van Damme to bad there where some directional problems, still they handled it quite nice. you can even feel the Asian flow in the movie!! if you don't mind Van Damme and like to see a raw, no holds barred, revenge movie!! check this one out!!!!

Classic War Movie!
10 January 2006
Very under rated war epic. Why this movie isn't just as big as the other big war movies of the 60's(the guns of Navarro /bridge to far) is probably because it was to realistic for the times! acting is good only problem is that the Germans speak a little bit to good English but the action is topnotch especially the big tank battle scene in the middle of the movie, is one of the best war scenes i've ever seen till this day!!!The Bridge scene is also very impressive with tanks that destroy huge apartment blocks! this was a big budget movie at the time you can tell you can't count the extra's walking around and the destruction is as realistic as I've ever seen !!TRULY A MUST SEE FOR WAR MOVIE LOVERS!!!
