Forged in Fire (2015)
Love this show!
As a knife aficionado, seeing these guys create knives, axes, swords, etc. is an awesome treat. I have always wanted to be a bladesmith, but so far never got the time. Watching this show really puts the fire back in my belly!
I like the design of the show, and I love seeing the different techniques used to achieve some of the same results. I also love learning about the different metals. It's great seeing the different equipment and knowing you can do a lot of the techniques with new machines like power hammers and grinders, yet you can achieve the same results, albeit with a lot more muscle and sweat, but it can be done the "old fashioned way".
Please keep this show going!
The Green Hornet (2011)
Nice Adaptation with lots of fun and mayhem! Not for Die Hard FanBoys.
Seth Rogen achieved what he wanted to achieve - Britt Reid (Rogen) is actually more of a horse's butt than Tony Stark, and Kato (Chou) is amazing. He is the best Kato since Bruce Lee.
The movie is sophomoric, but that is what it is supposed to be. Pure entertainment with plenty of laugh-out-loud good times and lots of needless explosions, gunfire and butt-kicking!
The villain is also a lot of fun! You may find yourself liking him a little too much!
It's what you want and it's what you get! The real star may be the Black Beauty - one amazing movie car - better than any Bond toy! If anyone knows the base car, please post it! ('64 Ford or Caddy?)
Congrats to Seth Rogen and Joey Chou for the most entertaining and funniest action movie I've seen in a long time. I am going for a second round tonight, and can hardly wait for the DVD!
