I Killed Bapu (2023)

Other side of the coin
2 October 2023
This movie represents the other side of the story. We have been reading, hearing, seeing the Mahatma Gandhi (and congress) side of the story for a very long time now, good to see this attempt at the Godse's side of it too. I would give full marks for the storyline, but perhaps it needs more than this to be called a movie that can be commercially viable.

I would really appreciate the effort this movie crew have made to bring the perspective of Nathuram Godse to the forefront. Few things that i would say lacks in this movie is the inclusion of some credible sources from which this movie is based on. That could have been included at the end of the movie.

Great details provided
19 April 2022
The history of Yoga is beautifully articulated starting from as far as Indus Valley Civilization 5,000 years from now. The historical references that is provided is excellent. One can only imagine the kind of research that would have gone in to prepare this documentary. Truly commendable. A must watch for everyone who is interested in Yoga.

Shocking details
5 March 2022
The documentary shows the Delhi riots in February of 2020, during Trump's visit to India. It shows a lot of shocking footages, and interviews of lot of victims of the riot. I was not aware of what caused the riot until I saw this documentary. A must see.

Nice short film
6 February 2022
This movie shows the Godse's side of the story, of his reasoning of why he assassinated Gandhi. The dialogues are accurate as per the actual court hearing of Nathuram Godse. I really liked the acting skills and dialogue delivery of Amol Kolhe.

Agenda Driven Movie
6 January 2022
This movie was full of agenda to shows one community in bad light. If we look at the producers and distributers, it will be evident on what the movie is trying to portray.

Did not like the agenda part
6 January 2022
It is a great movie with excellent screenplay and acting. But i did not like the Agenda driven communism part of this movie. BR Ambedkar disliked communism, so the use of his name for glorifying communism is disappointing.

A movie that tells the truth
21 December 2021
This is a low budget movie. But shows the true picture of what happened in Kashmir in 1990s. The movie shows how Islamists caused the genocide and mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits (Hindus) out of the Kashmir Valley. Specially liked the roles played by Raj Baber and Anup soni.

Phycology and emotion behind Udham's actions
17 October 2021
The movie narrates the phycology and emotions behind Udham's actions. The primary reasoning of the British to rule India and other parts of the world is to "Make them civilized" is something that is so intriguing. Hard to believe that the world was contained with their lame justification. Vicky Kaushal is amazing as ever in his role of Udham Singh.

Tendulkar's legacy
12 June 2021
The documentary CWC more than needed, specially on the 2011 WC. Specially disappointed to see MS Dhoni's role in 2011 WC final intentionally ignored. Also the typical western view of India as the poor nation of snake charmers is kept intact.

Best way to understand the partition era politics of India
26 March 2020
The movie details out the sequence of events just before independence and partition of India till event right after it. The issues of Partition of India on a religious basis by Jinnah is shown with great details. The aftermath of partition and Kashmir conflict is also covered in a way that is understandable to most. The role of Sardar Patel in making India the way it is now is vastly ignored. This movie should be watched by anyone who wants to understand the politics behind creation of Pakistan.

Padmaavat (2018)

Superb movie by Bhansali
11 February 2018
Sanjay leela Bhansali has created another amazing movie with Padmavat. Full of amazing sets that takes you back in time to the 13th century. There is obviously bollywood drama as usual involved and the real story is not followed at all times. But the acting of Deepika as Padmavati and especially Ranbeer Singh as Alauddin Khilji has taken the movie to a different level.

Significant documentary
4 January 2018
Definitely a must see documentary which is very different that other documentaries in the way it is created and presented. All this contains is the clips of (home) videos taken during the first few years of Arvind Kejriwal's rise to power. But this is powerful enough to make you emotional.
