Enthiran (2010)
Rajni vs Rajni
One Rajnikanth on the screen is enough in taking you along a joy ride with his sheer presence and charisma. This Shankar directed marvel tells you one thing. If you are up against Rajni, you should be Rajni !! It contains so many Rajnis to blow your mind away. This, the most expensive Indian motion picture till date, provides you with everything u can expect from a film and leaves you speechless with its graphics, dialogs, action sequences and everything. Rajni is at his brilliant best, Shankar at his directing best and you'll definitely know from this movie why aishwarya rai is the most beautiful women alive !! The songs are brilliantly picturized, cinematography is very very good and every scene is a visual feast, especially the first song and the Kilimanjaro Song. The technical values are by far the best any Indian movie has had. The comedy is rib tickling. The only downside is the narrative which slows down as the movie proceeds into the second half and regains pace as the movie nears the end. There are too many songs in the second half as well. Rajni shows his age (60 and still running). On the whole a must watch 8/10
How I Met Your Mother: Of Course (2010)
hilarious but boring
I've loved the initial seasons of HIMYM and loved the recent episodes such as the playbook etc. But I don't really find a point in prolonging the story with some lame story about barney and one more of his flings. The poor guy has been carrying the entire show on his shoulders the whole 5 th season. The characters of Ted and Marshall is virtually useless other than singing some lame songs!! The show has to change if it has to survive.
This episode is hilarious at times and boring at times too. It may be fun for ones who are watching the series for the first time, but it is kinda boring for all the followers. Turning Robin Sherbotsky into someone emotional may not be counted as a new innovation and the jumping into the river scene is completely non hilarious.. 7/10 on the whole....
Maya Bazaar (1958)
A classic which would outlive time
What can i say about a movie that has the likes of NTR, Savitri, S.V.Ranga Rao and others. This is considered to be the best movie ever released in Telugu motion picture history with memorable acting from each and every member of the cast . This, in my opinion can be called as the first blockbuster of Telugu film industry. I can still wonder about the camera tricks used for the transformation of savitri into ghatockacha in those days when computers were not even known to anyone.Though it released even before my dad was born, i can't help but comparing it to the movies that are being released now a days with so much of technology in them but still can't match this classic neither in terms of the strength of the script nor the camera work.
An awesome movie and a must watch for every individual who can appreciate the beauty of Telugu language. hats off to the director.
Forrest Gump (1994)
best ever movie made!!
this in my opinion is the best movie ever to be made in Hollywood. the story of a guy with a below normal IQ and the wonderful things happened to him over his course of life moves you, inspires you, makes you cry makes you wanna laugh out loud it feels so real!!! i can watch it over and over again hundreds of times and still not get bored !! the story is so simple and the way it is narrated is wonderful i got tears in my eyes in the scene when jenny tells Forrest about his son and he wouldn't understand it!!! this film is one of those which tells you the value of simplicity and the successes that can be achieved by it!! life is like a box of chocolates u never know what ur gonna get . this is one film which gives you a different warm feeling in your heart each time you watch it
an absolute must watch!!!
