Divergent (2014)
meh story, AWFUL ACTRESS!
Shailene Woodley is one of the worst actresses alive today. Almost personally made the movie barely watchable. Another Pocahontas story, with mediocre effects, boring plot, zero humor, and amazingly sucking cast. Every human is a divergent but ! Shailene Woodley is a divergent who can't act. The idea of factions is good but the movie managed to ruin it by the lack of depth that is being sacrificed to make room for Shailene Woodley's magic acting. Almost every moment in the movie is predictable, every emotion visible. The graphics used as effects are from some cheap flicks and actually make it annoying to watch the scenes where Shailene Woodley doesn't have to act. The good part/parts: occasional suspense. Descent music.
Jenin, Jenin (2003)
A bunch of lies compiled together as a "documentary"
Whilst watching this movie I was very touched by the interviewed victims and my sympathy was with the Palestinian people. I started investigating more and then found out the even the director him self told that this movie is not a documentary but an expression of "emotions" felt by an Israeli Arab towards the Palestinian catastrophe? WHAT THE HECK???? I found out that the director is an Israeli Arab that didn't do the homework and just twisted facts to affect the political situation in Israel. Then I learned more about the conflict and realized it's root and this movie simply made me sick. It reminds me that statements that rapists and murderers make before going to jail, blaming everything on the clothes of a victim or booze or whatever you want, but suddenly they are the victims. I believe that this movie is a propaganda flick made by an evil, truly evil man.
The Last Airbender (2010)
If you have done something awfully wrong in this life, in the next you will be forced to watch this movie over and over again.
I believe that deep down in Soviet dungeons they use this "movie" to interrogate political prisoners. The suffering, the horror. Watching this movie can make a galloping horse fall asleep. The acting is horrible, child actors overact worse than Jim Carry, adult actors just don't give a damn about it. The dialogs are so woefully cliché that it makes you sick, the speeches make you somehow feel ashamed for the actors. The occasional effects seem pointless like a golden tooth in the mouth of Russian grandpa.
The movie begins with a narration about a bad hunting skills of Sokka, which leads nowhere, the appearance of the avatar reveals immediately the poor choice of Noah Ringer as the lead actor, this dude should do anything but act, I mean anything. You want the avatar dead after the first few lines of dialog. Then the story unfolds in such a way that you want it to fold back again, the tempo of the plot is either extremely fast (boom and he can bend water), or painfully boring, useless dialogs. The love story intertwined for a whopping minute and half just makes you wonder what was the director drinking while he was thinking of it. There is not one little thing that you can say that is decent in this "movie". The ending pompously promises a sequel, lets join together in prayer to prevent this disaster.
