Terminal (2018)
Lovely!
This thang was keeping me entranced ALL the WAY!
I have always admired Dexter Fletcher. And with Margot Robbie as that 'bottle-blonde'! The cinematography was excellent! She is amazing with Simon Pegg! Another amazing writer/actor! I have loved his 'world' since my first exposure of Shaun Of The Dead! Even his work in the Star Trek production was mega Impressive! Terminal has a Drama about it that is odd to me... I AM convinced that the Soundtrack Music makes this movie float! (I always pronounce 'Robie' as 'Rowbee' it sounds better to say ' Margow Rowbee'! What an AMAZING aussie! That OST is EPIC!
Chet Faker: Gold (2014)
That Hiro Murai! GOLD!
This POV-ish MusVid is a full-roll. Almost no cuts, until needed.
Chet Faker track with the roller girls is soo original and THEY are lovely!
(check that vimeo)
Queens of the Stone Age: Smooth Sailing (2014)
Queens of the Stone Age is LOUD!
QOSTSA are LOUD, and they should be.
If you've ever listened to an album, you know what I mean.
Josh Homme & Hiro Murai have just nailed it here.
The Japanese environment reminds me a bit of that movie, Lost in Translation.
Excellent! (It's on vimeo)
Nightflyers (1987)
This is one of my old Top 10's.
My VHS tape of Nightflyers was a prized possession of mine, until that media died. THEN, I found a digital copy of a laserdisc(?) WooHoo!
Methinks, mehopes, that a 'remastered edition' will be released with the new Nightflyer Series!
The film has such an immersive quality, an original sci-fi story and the soundtrack is classic 80's!
Thanks to George Arr Arr Martin!
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
This has to be the BEST long-awaited sequel EVER! Soo many questions answered, soo many more created.
I have been a connoisseur of Blade Runner lore since November 2019. (Actually 1997, including Blade Runner The Game)
I don't know how else to COMPLIMENT Denis and the Fanimation crews that made this Black Out 2022 mini-movie happen! Thank YOU ALL!
(It reminds me of the Matrix Trilogy, where the Animatrix fills in a LOT of backstory!)
Watching it AGAIN! (#22?) And catching more bits every time. ;-)
