Spiderhead (2022)
It's a netflix movie
A ton of money is thrown. Decent actors are brought in and it's still somehow a complete and utter waste of your time that you wish you could return when the movie is over. They really need to do a few focus groups or table reads in front of an outsider.
Chris helmsworth is nice to look at. He does a little dance at some point but not worth sitting through this overly long episode of black mirror without the emotional twist.
Younger: It's the End of the World, Worm Girl (2021)
"Fupa" sums up this episode... did no one google that word before naming a character that?
Whatever your feelings on Greta Thunberg this episode would turn you off to this show. Really scraping the bottom of the barrel with this episode. Cringe. Not sure who they were writing this for. I could watch it and it made me question why I watched this show past the second season. Everyone in the show grows except the main character and now this episode of all things to make fun of they chose to mock a kid.
And seriously the name "Fupa" kept throwing up cringe in the back of my mind and I googled it and it came back. Make the writers watch this episode. And then watch it again.
Next in Fashion (2020)
Could tell who would win by episode 4
The judges comments would gloss over and let things slide for one person and nit pick the person they wanted to vote off even when they had an actual finished design. Also the voting off of people was weird. It was cool hearing what actual designers look for and feel about design. Not sure if they picked the winner before the show started but it definitely felt like they played favorites and everyone else was just their for support.

A mad lib movie of bad plot lines
Movie sins would need an hour to go through every bad decision and mistake in this.
First off this movie was set in NYC by someone that has never lived there or spent more than a weekend there that one time they saw a Broadway play. Bike ride from a luxury Manhattan apartment to JFK? He'd need to start riding the night before in order to show up and not be drenched in sweat. Seeing stars and constellation in a city known for not being able to see them because of light pollution. And being shot in the back but somehow ending up with a gut shot that isn't a through and through. "Get all the way off my back on that one gut shots are more dramatic." No. Just stop. Plus the big reveal makes 0 sense well all of it makes 0 sense. Matching color shirts because some intro to costume design workshop said that's the way to connect characters. Its like someone wanted to make a good movie but was too lazy to actually do the work so they threw pasta at the wall and none of it stuck but they served it all anyway to a producer that needed a write off and not a movie. Rant done.
Best Leftovers Ever! (2020)
Not bad if you fas forward through all the judge portions
Cool concept and I always like watching what people create but they can concentrate on that and I would've thrilled but instead it's judge cringe! They aren't funny. The main host does these grand facial expressions that makes it feel like she's trying on a human suit but not quite sure how it works.Rosemary's tips are pretty great I just wish she didn't add loud "kapows" and cartoon movements. I really wish Netflix would notice what we fast forward through and it would cut down on judge "joking?" around time.
Dollface (2019)
2 stars and that's only for my love of Kat Dennings
Wow. This is just every bad stereotype about women played out as if it was a joke. I thought 2 broke girls turned into pathetic one liners but this takes the cake. I wanted to love this but every minute was more cringe worthy. The line "I clean when I'm nervous" is apparently gonna be a thing... it really shouldn't be. It isn't funny. I made it through 2 episodes and gave up. Younger actually did a petty decent job or portraying females and relationships and threw in some comic relief. This show feels like it's being written by an old dude in tourist wear trying to make his 13 year old daughter and her friend laugh and when it doesn't work he just leans in harder
Crossing Lines (2013)
How have I missed this show?!
I found this by accident while looking through netflix and decided to give it a try. Ended up watching till four in the morning. Like others have said it's like watching a European Criminal Minds. I can't believe this show gets no press! The characters are well written, the acting is above par. The action doesn't seem forced or gratuitous like in other TV shows now and it doesn't have the slow movement of British procedural shows I've come to expect. I really hope enough people stumble upon this gem to keep it going for at least as many seasons as two broke girls. It's refreshing to see well written content that isn't relying simply on actor recognition and good looks to keep it going although Donald Sutherland was a welcome surprise.
LA Ink (2007)
Started about tattoos ended about Kat Von D pushing her make up line.
The first season was great. Gorgeous tattoo after gorgeous tattoo... and then they replace artists with fake drama. By the end it left you wondering if they set Kat Von D's house on fire simply for filler for an episode. What real tattoo artist would make a point to show up late for appointments or forget about them all together for a show? Or pretend to hire inept people and not fire them for months on end? I get reality TV is a lot of TV and barely any reality but if that's the game you're playing may as well fake a few earthquakes and have an occasional zombie guest star it would be more believable and entertaining than any episode with Audrey or Liz.
