The Gray Man (2022)
Good acting and great action.
Chris Evans plays an unlikeable character which doesn't really call for any range because he is entirely unlikeable in actuality. Ryan Gosling is awesome.
The Northman (2022)
A 90 million dollar occult film.
Beautiful cinematography wasted on a film that bores with an exceedingly creepy celebration of the occult. Not really an action film at all. I was tremendously disappointed.
Midnight Mass (2021)
Started strong. But ended up being disappointing.
It's like a big 'coexist' bumper sticker had a baby with Bram Stoker. The acting was generally good and it was shot well, but the movie's plot had multiple personalities, wasted a lot of time, and and had a predictable ending that would leave anyone other than an atheist feeling dirty.
Without Remorse (2021)
The book was terrific.
This movie has almost none of the book in it. The movie is a woke waste of time. So disappointing to see a movie based on a great story with tremendous potential ruined by the p.c.
A Midnight Clear (1992)
One of the most underrated movies of all time.
Beautiful barrage of Judeo-Christian imagery against the inhumanity and terrifying and wasteful death and horrors of war. A true gem that would never be made in today's Hollywood.
Call of Duty: World at War (2008)
They just don't make them like this anymore.
Now it's all PC and doesn't show it how it was. I don't like playing like the communists were good guys though. I wish it we're all American or British soldiers. But a great game nonetheless!
Crawl (2019)
A throwback movie to the old days.
Remember when you went to the movies and were entertained for 90 minutes? You won't be "challenged" or lectured to, but you will enjoy it and walk out of the movie feeling you actually got your money's worth.
Force 10 from Navarone (1978)
Simply a classic.
I have seen it 100 times and it remains as entertaining as always.
Yellowstone (2018)
Good...until the second season.
Second season was completely out of ideas and got overwhelmingly political and started preaching. No thanks.
