Just,,, don't

Really good storyline ruined by terrible acting. Action scenes verged on ridiculous. Stick an A list actress in, would have been acceptable.

Whomever this lead actress is could benefit from acting lessons.

A Tale of Three Seasons

After the first season, I was thrilled. Interesting, good storyline, good character development. Couldn't wait for second season. Shouldn't have 😭. Not interesting at all. Then came Season Three. What a crock! Made it through five episodes and decided not to waste any more time on it.

Waste of talent

Had such high expectations for this movie, considering the star power it brings. Such a waste. Great actors cannot save a terrible story. At times bordered on boring. Go see something else or go catch that fish!

Alien it ain't

Being a big fan of 50's and 60's sci-fi movies, I found this movie rather enjoyable. Bad acting, bad writing, wandering plot, but I liked it.

Tim Burton's Best
17 January 2015
Didn't really know what to expect before I watched this movie. I have a sister-in-law who is an artist, so I was somewhat familiar with the story of Margaret Keane. The storyline pretty much followed real life events. The acting was outstanding, especially Amy Adams as Margaret Keane. Didn't know a lot of the supporting cast, except for Terence Stamp, who happens to be one of my all-time favorites. As he has proved several times over the years, Mr. Burton got the most out of what he had to work with. Excellent script, some thought-provoking lines as well as some snappy conversation. Danny Elfman's score was fantastic. I can always count on him to get the job done. One of the only problems I had with the movie was the timing if the trial. After watching the movie, check out the real story on Wikipedia and you'll see what I am talking about. Overall, one of the best movie's I've seen in a few years. Go check it out; you won't be disappointed!

Worst superhero movie ever.

Warning: Spoilers
Since seeing the first trailer last year, I have been waiting with high hope to see this movie. I have been a fan of Superman since boyhood. Thought the first two movies with Christopher Reeve were really good and "Superman Returns" was a better movie than people gave it credit for. But this was without doubt one of the biggest disappointments of my movie-going life. Forget the $7.50; I want the 2+ hours of my life back!! The CGI special effects were cartoonish, dialogue seemed forced and no real coherency to the film at all. Michael Shannon as General Zod was the one bright spot of the movie (the only reason I gave it a 3 instead of a 1). Love Laurence Fishburne, be he IS NOT Perry White. Just hope this Superman doesn't return.
