Vampires Suck (2010)
Not as funny, and whole lot of nonsense
I got a few laughs out of this film from its absurdity. Films like this are meant to be nonsensical but to a point where audiences can't relate, it's terrible, like the jersey shore crew appearing out of nowhere...in nowhere.
They were trying too hard to make it funny, it turned out far more silly, cheesy (and more fake) than the Twilight saga (and Kristen Stewart's acting).
However I must say that Jenn Proske's portrayal of Kristen Stewart for Bella was right on.
I give this movie a 2/10. Somewhat a waste of time with the crap and all but at least it made me laugh a little.
I Love You Phillip Morris (2009)
Truly wonderful
Jim and Ewan further established themselves as capable and versatile actors in this film.
The intercourse scene of Steve and his wife was so absurd and fearsome for me. I thought he was going to break the bed.
Steve's anal intercourse scene managed to surprise me.
Ewan played Morris beautifully. Ahhh, the way Ewan was so fragile, so soft and gentle (and pretty with the golden hair), I wanted to cradle him so much.
I loved how brilliant Jim's character is (apparently with IQ of 183). Reminded me of Dicaprio's character in "Catch Me If You Can", marvelous film. But I liked the ending of Dicaprio's character better because after all the committed crimes, his character joined the FBI or something, put his intelligence to good use. I wish for Steven's ending to be similar (currently still in prison).
All in all, I love this film! It was so many things - funny, romantic, exciting, surprising. Just brilliant.

The Wonderful World of Disney: Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister (2002)
Surprising, Fresh, Simple!
I have not seen any other films based on/around Cinderella aside from Disney's. Confessions of an Ugly Step Sister proved to have provided a fresh twist to the common Cinderella story. I liked how the characters are portrayed - ugly Iris so kind, and beautiful Clara so proud.
I definitely support this film because it did not stay in the circle where "beauty" equals "kindness, etc" but showed the actual opposite. This will absolutely help younger children understand that "beauty" does not always mean "kindness" as they are so associated with.
However, it took me awhile to absorb the fact that Iris, played by the beautiful Azura, was supposed to be ugly.
Overall, I stay by the fact that it was a fresh and simple film, it was easy to grasp. Plus, this film may be good for younger children as they should stay away from the ever-so stereotypical Disney movies (not that I don't love them, I do!).
