Bonsai People: The Vision of Muhammad Yunus (2011)
Inspirational
Wow. I would feel bad about myself after seeing this movie if it weren't for the fact that it totally motivated me to keep plugging along. Muhammad Yunus is an example of what one person can do to create great change in the world for good. I loved that the filmmaker, Holly Mosher, went to Bangladesh by herself to follow her subjects. Very empowering. Watch it and get motivated too! I loved the subjects she followed, I really felt connected to them throughout the film. Now I want to visit Bangladesh, especially before the sea levels rise even more and the people are displaced. This film puts a face to the people. May we all be blessed to help others in this manner. I'm thinking about opening a branch! LOL
NATO/OTAN (2005)
It takes a village
You know how they say it takes a village to raise a child? The same applies for movie making. NATO/OTAN was the result of much love & hard work by all parties involved. I enjoyed the process (looking back) and the outcome. I hope all that view it appreciate the message. Sometimes, art is the best way to convey a message. It causes less damage than bombs. This film is to make you think. Hopefully, enough people react, so when it comes time to go to the voting booths, people will actually flex their political muscles. We have strength in numbers. Remember! I appreciate any comments or feedback on this film. Please watch it, share it and encourage others to do so also.
