The Batman (2022)
6/10
Tamper your expectations and it will be fine
21 August 2022
I think the world got carried away a little when this movie first came out, only 2 things live up to the hype and that is the AMAZING cinematography of William Hoy and the solid score of Michael Giacchino.

The performance is very bland and lacks depth from almost all major characters and the action choreography is actually below par of what we have come to expect in modern cinema. If anyone has sparred and fought in real life, the movement in this movie by The Batman will come off as laughable.

However, it is still a solid movie and I much prefer its darker take on the Batman over the mess that became the Justice League. I look forward to seeing how it improves with the next movie. Maybe they can finally get a little bit of Bruce Wayne in the movie as well and not just Batman.

A sad step backwards in visuals and originality
15 June 2022
Out of the three Dragon Ball movies to come out of the modern era, this is by far the weakest. We have gone from the spectacular animation of DBS Broly to a CGI focused, frankly janky take on Dragon Ball.

So many movements just feel awkward and the classic impact from hits is completely gone. Any OG Dragon Ball fan will be disappointed when they compare it with any of the classic scenes and find the weight within combat sorely lacking.

Though it must be said , the CGI IS INDEED SUPERIOR to the CGI we saw in previous movies, but it does not even touch the 2D animation peak of DBS Broly. That is not a fault of the technology, plenty of movies like the Kung Fu Panda trilogy and Spiderman have shown us amazing 3D combat in a complex manner.

The story is also just a recycled clone of older Dragon Ball arcs with copy cat moments in every step of the way, completely giving away the plot to any fan of the show and progressing in a sad manner with uninspired transformation with 0 creativity. THE BEST part of the movie is simply the growth of Trunks and Goten in terms of design and that is it.

I will not be buying this movie in physical form, 1 showing at the Cinema was enough torture for me.

Finally monsterverse gets it right
1 April 2021
I absolutely loved the dark gritty rebirth of Godzilla 2014, it had a very serious tone and focused on a mystical figure rather than Japanese era movies that later came which were more about hyped up action.

However, when Hollywood did try to dive into the hype action style of Monster movies, they went through some serious growing pains with KOTM and Skull island. Too many cut away from fights, focus on humans instead of the monsters leading the story etc. However, Godzilla vs Kong, fixes a great deal of these issues and delivers us one of the best monsterverse movies to date.

The CGI is truly breathtaking, watch it in 2160p if possible. The action is choreographed really well and for once the cut away is not as annoying. Little interactions between Kong and Godzilla and great and monsters actually show emotion really well, hats off to the cinematography and CGI team.

This is is what classic Kaiju fans wanted and for human connection we finally have a character who doesn't annoy us, GIA / JIA is fantastic as Kong's human sidekick and has a lot of emotional value for those looking for it. Rest of the cast are simply cogwheels to get the monsters going and giving them motivation, some might not enjoy that but I for one think thats how monster movies should be done. I do think they wasted some serious potential with Ren Serajawa, who could have been so more more, which is also why I deducted some points.

However all that being said, this is some of the most fun I have had watching a monster focused film in years. It delivers what the title says and then some.

Dragon Ball Super Broly takes the franchise back to greatness
15 December 2018
When Dragon Ball finally returned after its big hiatus with Battle of Gods, the expectations and the excitement were both at their zenith. Unfortunately, it failed to hold onto it with the poorly directed and somewhat unoriginal Resurrection of F. What followed was even worse with a poorly scheduled animated series that threw the animators between a rock and a hard place. The result was mass disappointment and criticism for the once beloved franchise and it wasn't until the Zamasu arc did people start seeing glimpses of what was once adored. By the time the tournament of power arc rolled around, the animation quality had gotten up considerably and while the storytelling still needed some work the direction overall was better. In a way, Dragon Ball Super Broly is a reward for those who stuck by the series despite the issues because it conquers everything that went wrong before.

Let us begin, up first I would like to get the bad out of the way. The only real problem I have with the movie is the incredibly bland retelling of the Dragon Ball Minus Manga. It is by far the least creative thing Toriyama has ever produced and it hurts me a bit that they did not keep the original Anime's take on things. However, that being said it was a fun experience to see Goku's mother Gine finally drawn out in front of us. Couple that with Toei's attempt to pay some homage to the original Bardock story with a very similar demise and it does give the older fans something to feel good about early on. The other negative is the sudden super realistic CGI that is used between all this amazing 2d animation, which can kick you out of the immersion if you notice it for a bit.

Now let us focus on the actual movie and see what it offers, the general idea of the story is to connect a line between our main characters Goku and Vegeta with the new and improved Broly. When I say 'IMPROVED' I mean that in every send of the word. The little things with Broly before any of the action even begins is what actually makes you like him. Director Tatsuya Nagamine essentially split Broly into two beings, one is this curious and unsociable outcast that really just wants to be loyal to his father and feels disconnected from the world due to his unfortunate circumstances. The other side is shown during the intense action scenes when he sheds all emotion and turns into a savage monster that embodies everything from the original noncanon movie. This way you somewhat satisfy both the casual fans who want him to be the hulk of the franchise and those who wanted more depth in the character.

Now the general plot without any major spoilers comes down to Freeza attempting to steal the Dragon balls yet again though this time for a far more ridiculous goal and while doing so, some of his soldiers come across Broly and Paragus who were outcast by King Vegeta out of sheer jealousy. They are convinced by Freeza that the best way to exact due revenge would be to travel to Earth and take down Vegeta, the eldest son of the late King Vegeta. Which automatically sets Broly on a collision course against Goku as well. They arrive on an icy land and so begins the battle. Here is where I would like to start talking about the animation and voice acting, for the longest time I looked at other animated Japanse shows like My Hero Academia, Mob Psycho and One Punch man and said to myself, how amazing would it really be If Dragon Ball could match that level? Well, I am glad to tell you guys that they have matched and exceeded our expectations for animation here. The kind of madness at display here is nothing but pure excellence. Which is expected when you have the likes Yuya Takahashi, Yuki Hayashi, Naotoshi Shida, Yoshihiko Umakoshi, Chikashi Kobuta and Ryo Onishi pulling the strings behind the frames. All this is only possible due to Naohiro Shintani freeing us from the shackles of Tadiyoshi Yamamura who had plagued the animated series with his poor designs. As for the voice acting, while I haven't had the pleasure to hear the English cast yet I can assure fans of the Japanese version that they bring out some of their best performances yet. Especially the voice acting of Katsuhisa Hôki as Paragus, he completely knocks it out of the park with arguably the most complex character. Aya Hisakawa, who had the incredibly hard job of replacing Hiromi Tsuru was also more than adequate. Other highlights include Nana Mizuki as Cheelai and of course Masako Nozawa for multiple characters.

Overall, I am happy that Toei Animation finally took the steps necessary to evolve their most valuable series through this movie and I hope this continues in the years to come.

Dragon Ball Super Broly is one of the best animated films of the year and provides you with Akira Toriyama's trademark humor and out of this world battles, which is only taken to the next level by the fantastic direction of Tatsuya Nagamine.

Suicide Squad (2016)
5/10
Sits somewhere between good and really bad
5 August 2016
I went into this movie with rather high expectations, I was one of the peoples who appreciated BatmanVSuperman and felt it could boost DC into a good string of action films.

Suicide squad was one of the movies first in line to this new-found momentum and it started out amazingly well. The opening is designed masterfully and you can see the effort put in to instantly grab the attention of the fans.

Unfortunately, after that, everything falls flat on their face. Most of the side characters feel out of place and go through no real development. Which is a real shame because in terms of performance Margot Robbie really knocked it out of the park and Jared Leto held his own. If there was more consistent character development across the board and fewer plot holes coupled with a better story, then this could have been a movie many would love. The direction from David Ayer also deserves a fair amount of criticism as well as the camera work in any scene that does not sport action.

Expect this to be very similar to BVS in terms of box office numbers but the opposite in slow appreciation. A decent flick that could have been way better

Not as bad as people say, not as good as we expected either
26 March 2016
So I will make this review as short as possible because I would like to keep it spoiler free while touching on major subjects. Now to begin, Batman V Superman is a well-executed film, with rather creative ideas behind it. However, DC did a gigantic mistake by not having more movies around all 3 characters so it would make sense.

Why is Batman the way he is here ? Sure us comic fans can assume and probably make sense, but what about the casual audience ? Yeah we needed a movie about this batman first

Why should I care so much about Superman ? We didn't see him adjust later on and weren't able to make sense after the first movie, so yes we needed another one from him as well.

Why on earth will I like this Wonderwomen ? for the very same reasons, we needed a movie.

Look at Marvel, despite being far inferior in content creation and quality, they did movies about their superheroes before so we can actually be hyped about what they offer. Instead of jamming everything in. Not to mention the multiple plot holes and stupid decisions.

That all being said, every character except Alex (Lex's son) delivered. Ben was a surprisingly good Batman and whatever shortcomings that were there came in with the writing and not his ability as an actor, on his end he was Solid. Overall decent movie, but feels rushed and doesn't have enough reason for us to care enough about the characters. The world building went wrong for DC

The first of its kind , A true look into the world of competitive gaming
25 March 2014
If you are reading this, then chances are you are an enthusiastic person when it comes to gaming and the idea of E-Sports in general. I am a 20 year old guy, who lives in Bangladesh, a country where professional gaming is still in its baby steps. So seeing this documentary fills my heart with hope and joy, first of all let me clear up one thing, this movie is not about Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter Strike or any single competitive game. It's about the idea of competitive gaming and everything that comes with it, like every normal person i am currently studying and am trying to somehow build a successful life for myself. But that is not where my passion lies, i am simply doing it because of the sake of it, i am a decent student and am relatively well rounded in life, but nothing and i mean nothing compares to the thrill and satisfaction i get from competitive gaming. Despite being in a country where competitive gaming feels like a mere dream i have always tried to take a shot at it and like every person who is attempting to do the same i face many criticism from people all around me, but we still hope and we still keep on trying, don't we ? This is exactly what this movie/documentary captures, Gaming is no longer a thing of entertainment only, it has now become a competitive sport at an international level and that gives people like us a lot of hope.

This documentary follows the life and struggle of 3 famous players who have fought through all odds, Danil "Dendi" Ishutin from Ukraine, Benedict "HyHy" Lim from Singapore and Clinton "Fear" Loomis from USA. It presents their life style as a gamer beautifully, you feel their pain, their struggles in everyday life and above all you can truly relate to their mentality as a competitive gamer.

The movie is also very well produced, the music fits the scenes perfectly and the transition from one story to another feels smooth and never throws you off the hook of excitement. I for one was simply staring at it and seeing parts of my life pop up in front of my eyes, yes i am nowhere near as successful as the players features but i can relate nonetheless, it does not matter what games you play or even if you are into competitive gaming, i request any and every person to watch this so you can get a little insight to a competitive players mind. Especially parents who are struggling to understand their children's obsession with video games would see this so they can learn to understand them better and manage accordingly.

All said and done Free to Play is one of Valve's greatest creation and it is something every gamer and the people around them should watch.

This is just,,, Disappointing
12 August 2013
Well the show starts off fairly decent , a decent story line and above average character development. Then it just went haywire, the plot made no sense, logic was thrown out of the window, most hilarious coincidence and TV gimmick, even the acting became downright terrible. The fan base of this show are all a bunch of kids either physically or mentally who have 0 idea about reality and how the world works. It does not deal with anything real and you probably wont learn anything worth while from it. Even the love stories are downright horrible, it's almost hard for me to believe that i use to like it , but then again in the first season it wasn't this horrible. It's disappointing how highly this is rated , what even more sad is that most retarded fans will just read the summary of my review and click 'NOT HELPFUL' because that's just how they are, this may as well be the show that ruined a lot of teen age lives in fact, because they see this and expect these , totally illogical stuff and then they face reality and blame life ! Do yourself a favor don't watch this anymore , it will do nothing but waste your time.

The Spirit of the original Dragon Ball lives on, A great mix of classic elements
31 March 2013
Well before starting this review i would like to say that there are some technical aspects that i am going to intentionally avoid, you may ask why and the answer to that is simple. The Dragonball Series has been a part of my childhood , it made me love anime's and if it wasn't for this i would have never watched other amazing anime's such Death Note, Code Geass, Naruto, Bleach etc. Simply put Dragonball is the series that made me understand anime in general and judging it from a technical view point is simply not fair, So when i first received the news that a new DragonballZ movie is going to be released and is actually going to be canon , my excitement went through the roof. I did not want to lose the chance of seeing the premier and was willing to go to any logical limits for it and let me tell you it was worth it. The movie is everything a classic Dragon Ball fan like myself wanted, the classic planet destructing battles, overpowered villains with ridiculously edgy personality and Goku once again doing whatever it takes to beat the stronger opponent. The animation and visuals are as good as ever and the voice acting is also very consistent with the original ones, the sound was used very cleverly and suits the whole Japanese classic theme very well. The story is also very intriguing and oozes a certain sense of adrenaline throughout the whole movie and the ending was something i didn't expect(at least from a Dragonball movie), I was like wait that can't be right and It took me a while to understand why the ending is being played out the way it was , until i heard some of the last lines/dialogs. Those last few lines made me realize that this ending just opened up a ton of new possibilities for future Dragonball series and movies, i can only hope that this movie succeeds worldwide and that success will provide enough motivation for Akira Toriyoma to get going again, so we can all enjoy another era of Dragonball !

What is happening to this world?
17 September 2012
A friend of mine who is a huge Justin Bieber fan convinced me to watch this, saying that i would respect him after watching this. When the movie ended my friend looked at me and said "So what do you think? I answered "Now i know why you are single for such a long time" and i meant it. If you have taste like that you will either marry another person who shares your awful taste in both music and movies or you will die alone. The movie , actually i am not even going to call this a movie. This thing was so disturbing and pathetic , it insults those who created real music, who created real movies, and those who truly went through hard time in their life. Its really sad that the so many people actually like this "Thing"!! What is happening to this world? Don't people watch or listen meaningful stuff anymore?

Twilight (I) (2008)
So i finally watched it!!
22 August 2011
Warning: Spoilers
So i finally watched twilight, So the Story Goes like this An unusually Pale girl who is clearly stuck between being a Emo and a Gothic, Moves To a new place to pass more time with her dad as his mom and dad are divorced( it seems nowadays every main teen character has a divorced parents in films) , anyways moving on she goes to this school where everyone is clearly ignoring her, and she notices this group even more pale than her!! and she has this crush on this guy who is pale as a ghost and has hair that looks like it has been through a fight or something! Anyways she tries to you know get close to this guy,, only to find out he a freaking Vampire :P, anyways she still loves him,, and guess what!! Vampires fall in love with humans! So apparently this guy , the vampire is knows as Edward Cullen and he finds the unusual emo babe attractive,, i mean not literally her,, but he likes her blood, he is you know just addicted to her blood and at the same time he loves her,, so we have a guy who loves a girl who he wants to eat!! :P, oh and did i mention, this movie has a definition of their own for vampires,, according to them, vampires can be vegetarian (only eat animals blood) and the biggest shock of them all ,, Vampires freaking Spark in Sunlight! I mean common! the guy who created Vampires is lucky to be dead, cause if he saw how his creation is being insulted he would have had a heard attack or something, moving on, so they end up in a relationship, but their is a twist in the story,, there is this other guy,, who looks like the king of steroids , all muscle and stuff, he loves the unusual pale babe too!! woohoo! a love triangle now this girl who claims to have the purest of love for the vampire guy,, is now confused who she really loves, some love eh? anyways, enter evil vampires, one day the vampire boy calls his human emo girlfriend to play thunder baseball! but remember how i mentioned that the emo girl named Bella has a very attracting blood? i mean for vampires, anyways some really evil bad Vampires goes crazy by her smell and comes looking for her,, of course the Cullen's protect her, but later they go after her anyways, it ends up in a fight which the Cullen's with and yeah at the end the vampire boy sucks up his girlfriends blood but doesn't suck on long enough to kill her, talk about choosing love over food :P, and so the movie ends, so what i thought about the movie? well i guess if you are one of those guys who have seen classic vampire movies you should just avoid this weird movie, but since its SO famous i guess its good for single teen girls who have nothing interesting in their lives, and yeah some weird guys might like it too, if they are single and miserable that is !!!

Amazing Cast, But a disappointing Movie
1 June 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Son Of No One is a movie that i was very excited to experience, Maybe Because this is one of Channing Tatums Serious Movies, Or Maybe Legendary Actor Al Pacino Plays a part in this Movie. Now i know many have criticized Channing Tatum as an untalented actor , but in some of his films i saw a lot of potential in him. Channing Tatum plays Jonathan , Who is a new cop, with a young family. Al Pacino Plays Detective Stanford who was once Jonathan's Father's Co worker or more of a friend. As the story goes we find out that Jonathan killed two junkies in an accident when he was young, Detective Stanford being a friend of his father's was at the crime scene helped Jonathan To Cover Up the incident, Now Jonathan has to face his past again as the information of an old case being set up suddenly gets released by local Papers. Which Turns out to be Jonathan's Own Haunting Incident. Jonathan Starts to investigate this case, at the same time searching for the Source, So he can save his job and his life. The movie is Decent. But it could have been a lot better, I think many will agree with me on that one. The Performance is good, but the characters could have been explored more. Channing Tatum Still needs more time to perfect his roles, as for Pacino he was one of the elements that carried the film. The ending twist was disappointing as you can easily predict it before it happens. This movie had a lot of potential , it really could have been a much better movie

A movie that not everyone will like
21 May 2011
Da Vinci Code is one of those movies that followed a certain bold yet somehow logical idea, many people hate it, and many love it, i guess it depends what kind of person you are, if you are open to any thought and just aren't really afraid to think the unthinkable you might just like this movies, on the other hand if you are a person who lives by certain codes and follows certain way of life you probably wouldn't like it, so without spoiling much about this movie, i will just suggest you to keep and open mind to this, the thought of this movie might be very disturbing for some people where others might be impressed with such vision. The cast and Direction both are above average , Tom hanks did a good job like he always does bought the character to life , so did the others. This is a bold yet somehow powerful movie, and understanding the story greatly help's if you have read the original book.

I regret buying this movie!
5 May 2011
When Knight and Day was Released it created such a hype i thought i must see this movie, hoping to get a decent action comedy flick i bought the movie. So i push the disc in and start watching the movie, after 109 minutes of of unimaginable disappointment, i just felt sad for the money i wasted for this weird film, For Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz this movie was just about having a good paycheck and having some fun along the way. The Movie is Plain garbage, From the Direction to the acting to special effects, it's all waste of money! so if you expect anything good from this movie, than i strongly suggest you avoid watching this movie. As it will do nothing but waste your time and money. Now those of who are blind fan's of Tom cruise or Cameron Diaz may dislike my thought's, but than again, i am just telling the truth

The Pianist (2002)
9/10
More than just a Movie
4 May 2011
How often do you see a movie that is capable of touching your Heart? how often do you see a movie that will occupy your thoughts for a good while? Roman Polanski's "The Pianist" is one of those rare breed of movies that can actually do that. It's undoubtedly one of the most impressive movies you will ever see. From The Solid Direction Of Roman Polanski to the Flawless acting of Adrien Brody This Movie without a doubt can be called a Masterpiece. The Movie is based on The true story of Wladyslaw Szpilman, who in the 1930s was considered one of the most accomplished Pianist. But the movie is not about his fame, Nor his Glory as a pianist. It's About A Polish Jew, who fought against all odds, Faced situations that he never even imagined and Finally Survived by losing almost everything and everyone he loved. It shows not only a tale of horrific surviving, but also the emotions that many people had to face and fight in order to live. It makes you wonder how people who really faced and Fought against those odd and lived, makes you ask yourself what would i do in that situation? The Cast is great, Whether it is a important character like Fox as Dorota or Minor character such as Ronan Vibert as Janina's Husband. But Adrian Broody Truly proved his worth as an actor in this film, i mean he was so into the character that he will make you believe that he really is Szpilman, He lost over 14 kilograms and developed a unusual body language for some scenes, and an actor of his level deserve much more recognition, but it's a fact that people nowadays prefer flash and looks over true art, however if you are one of those who can appreciate a true masterpiece you must have a look at "The Pianist"

Prerapare To Be Wowed
3 April 2011
Dog Day Afternoon is one of 70's best movie. Legendary Actor Al Pacino Plays the tough role of Sonny, One of the most weird yet interesting Characters of all time. John Cazale Plays the Role of Sal. Now this is one of those rear movie that will make you laugh and yet at the same time it will make you think about the intensity of the situation. Sidney Lumet is at his best in this movie. He directed the movie beautifully. The cast was also perfect for their roles. Whether it was Charles Durning as Moretti or Carol Kane as Jenny. As for the Performance Al Pacino never let's his viewers down when he is given a proper role. Al Pacino Played his Role Perfectly, and So did John Cazale. I cannot imagine anyone except for AL AND JOHN As Sonny and Sal. It's a must see for those who know the real value of a masterpiece, and this one won't let you down

Citizen Kane (1941)
8/10
A masterpiece but a masterpiece that's not for everyone
11 February 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Citizen Kane is arguably one of the most groundbreaking movies ever made. its hard to believe that this movie was considered to be a huge flop the time it was released and people booed it for even getting nominated for the academy awards, i guess it received its glory long after it was released. Orson Welles did an outstanding job directing the movie given the time it was created, he pushed all boundaries of movie making. That is the true reason why Citizen Kane is called the greatest movie of all time by so many people, not for its depth of emotion or performance but for what a breakthrough it really was. All of the Cast did their job well. They were very much in their character, Whether it was important character like Joseph Cotten as Jedidiah or Small character like Ray Collins as Getty's. Orson Welles did and Excellent job as Kane. The movie Shows the Rise and Fall of the Great Charles Foster Kane, It shows how his life really was , how he never wanted money for himself, how he was Both Bad and good at the same time. The Movie has amazing amount of depth in it, But still the movie is not without it's flaws, The Biggest Flaw of the movie is how it is shown and at the same time that same thing is its biggest Strength. The Movie is Somehow Dark and Dirty, Where Many like my self will love the movie, many will find it to be boring and out of pace. I think its safe to say no matter how great the movie is, its not Timeless. It never really touched the Level People Expected, Over expectation killed the movie. This movie is a Masterpiece but a masterpiece that is not for everyone.

Dark thrilling , brilliant piece of cinema
21 November 2010
Harry potter and the deathly hallows Part 1 is definitely the best movie of the franchise. The Script is strong , the direction is great. Visual effects are mind blowing. The Performance are better than ever before. J.K Rowling's book came to life through this one. The Effort put on this movie can be felt So after all that you can't help loving this movie. It's full of Dark Thrilling magical Adventures. The Movie Excelled at showing the more mature sides of the characters. The Chemistry between the main characters Harry, Hermione and Ron is amazingly fun to watch. So just Go and watch the movie or you will be Missing a magically Dark Thrilling Experience.

Salt (2010)
7/10
Overthetop but Entertainment at its best
18 November 2010
I really don't understand all the negative comments about this movie. I mean sure "Salt" Is not a masterpiece Action Film but its also far from being a bad movie. Salt has this Sense of Rush throughout the entire film that keeps you interested. its full of Energy, Rush and Action. Angelina Jolie Did a Fine job as Salt. She actually made her character look Stronger than she is. Even though some Scenes are a little too Illogical but to be honest it won't bother the Viewers, all this Intensity with Angelina Jolie's Beauty made it very Entertaining. As for the Plot it's not perfect but considering the Genre Salt Belongs too you don't really need an amazing Plot to make a good action film. Salt is Entertaining and Entertainment is what people Expect from a Action Movie, that's what you will get from salt

Machete (2010)
5/10
Overthetop and illogical but Fun at its best
15 November 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Machete is a very entertaining movie, Specially for the classic Robert Rodriguez film fans, but its not for everyone. The Movie Stars Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Jeff Fahey, Robert DeNiro, Steven Seagal, Lindsay Lohan, Tom Savini, Cheech Marin, and Don Johnson. Given The fact the movie was literally born out from a trailer the movie is amazingly entertaining. Danny Trejo as machete did a great job. Even though he is 66 year old he was surprisingly was able to pull of many physically demanding task, as machetes toughest Rival Steven Seagal did a good job, even though it was noticeable that age caught up to Steven Seagal he kept up with the rest of the crew. Robert DeNiro is as always good at what he does. Michelle Rodriguez as Luz also did a fine job at times she looked hotter than anyone else in the movie and speaking of hot Jessica Alba Looks very hot herself. Lindsay Lohan actually was not irritating for once and actually was entertaining to watch. But there are also downsides to the movie, The Blood and Gore scenes should have been better. Many Blood and Gore scenes were confused with a weird effect which the technical team is to blame for, Also i couldn't help but notice that somethings are a Little too Illogical Even for a Mexploitation movie. In the first action scene Machetes Partner dies in the car, which machete was driving. i mean normally people target those who are Driving first which was weird. There are many Illogical scenes like that but to be honest it wont really bother anyone. So at the end of the day MACHETE is what people will expect maybe more. Even though its not as Great as Grindhouse or Desperado but its surely worth a watch

There Never Will be a Sequel like this or One This Good
20 October 2010
The Brilliant Companion piece to the original " The Godfather" continues the saga of two generations of successive power within the Corleone family, Legendary Director Francis Ford Coppola tells two stories in the "The Godfather Part 2" , The roots and rise of the young Don Vito Corleone played with uncanny ability by Robert De Niro and The Ascension of Micheal Corleone played with Unreal Ability of AL Pacino. Reassembling many of the talents who helped make the "The Godfather" A Legend and the most successful motion picture of its time, Francis Ford Coppola Produced a movie of staggering magnitude and vision like any other. The Godfather 2 is undeniably the best sequel ever made, and maybe even superior to the Original "The Godfather" which is considered to be the best movie ever made by many critics and actors. The movie is one of the few movies close to perfection. Francis proved his worth and created the level of greatness when it came to direction in the movie industry through The Godfather Saga. The Acting skills shown in The Godfather 2 by Robert De Niro and AL Pacino are truly something you have to see to believe. Robert De Niro portrayed the character of the young Vito Corleone with such effort that he actually made people believe he was the young Marlon Brando. But AL Pacino even topped De Niro and gave a performance which is one of the few characters to be present on every list of great characters in the film history. AL Pacino's Portrayal of Micheal Corleone was so believable that people forget that they are watching a movie when he was performing. Legendary method actor Lee Strasbourg also made his debut in the film industry with this movie and he proved why he is considered to be such an Icon in the world of Acting. Even the characters which are not that important leave a mark of their own. The Godfather 2 is truly one of the greatest films ever made, and there never will be a sequel like this again or one this good.
