Bienvenidos a Edén (2022)
BOOORING...
Netflix nowadays would just add any garbage just for the sake of the quantity, not the quality. Ugh. It makes me more hesitant to watch next European show...
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Spider-Man at its finest!
I was blown away by the movie. Never have I seen something so perfect!
Great performance. Some really iconic fights and characters. It will be really hard to top this movie with future franchises.
Prodigal Son (2019)
Has a potential
I hate procedural detective shows. But I love Silence of the Lambs. It reminds of Hannibal Lecter show which makes me drawn to it....I don't know why..It's not something I would consider as greatly executed show. But it builds up to something. I love Malcolm character. I don't like show focusing on his sister or his mom. I want it to be simply him and his father but apparently it is not where the show takes us to. Anyway, I admire actors and I hope the show will go beyond norms and bring something nasty and horrific like "Hanniba"l did. I hope they won't deviate from Malcolm. He is charismatic. And there is a lot to explore in the relationship between son and a father/killer.
Suburra - La serie (2017)
Shocking finale
I was appalled by the death of my favourite character. And since I didn't know it was the final season I was mad at creators and was never going to watch it without Aurelliano. I calmed a bit after realising it was the ending of the show. And it was poetic and beautiful. Spadino's love for Aurelliano made it much harder to sit through. I wish there was at list some sweet part of the ending though. Just so sad. I wonder if movie is the same.
The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)
Very disappointing
I did not cancel Netflix just because of this show. Haunting of Hilltop House was such a masterpiece I could not wait to see this one. It was just so slow. It felt like drama full of boring dialogues about feelings. I was very patient and by the end of the show I didn't feel rewarded. There were good moments. That's why I gave it 6. I like seeing same actors. And good new ones. But what a huge step down from Hilltop.
Follow Me (2020)
Overall entertaining
I am glad that a cliche of Americans being kidnapped in Eastern Europe turns out to be a game. Because it felt so irritating. It's not actually happening in a real life. No one kidnaps tourists and tortures them for fun or a show. Hostel was great. But in this movie it felt so cheezy throughout just because, I think, we passed that Hostel area (also they made it cringy on purpose, just so the ending made sense, I feel). I had a feeling of fakeness during the movie and I thought to myself: "no way this is actually happening." They used Hostel to direct our expectations but it wasn't hard to figure out, considering that hollywood movies have a tendency to offer twists nowadays. I was relieved that it was an act, otherwise, it would be a horrible remake of a Hostel.
Beauty and the Beast (2017)
Disregard poor ratings. You will love the movie.
For the first time I am considering not to look at reviews...It is such a nonsense...I agree, everybody is entitled to the opinion. But this movie is a masterpiece. The only disney story that succeeded on the big screen. Yes, it's not perfect in some ways, but overall a magical experience. I watched it in 3D. it was gorgeous...If you watch on the macbook...you might not experience the beauty of it all...but actors and songs were amazing
Beat (2018)
Boring
The first episode was ok. But the rest of the show is just so weak. Characters are unremarkable. Story is just not interesting. Just not a good show for me. I like some German shows and was very disappointed in this one.
Koma (2019)
Mind-blowing!!!
One of the best, if not the best, sci fi movies that came out for the past years. Visual effects were out of this world. I wish I could see them in 3D. Characters were very captivating. storyline and acting were really good. It pulls you in right from the very beginning. Loved it!
Dark (2017)
This is a very special show.
It's hard to explain what "dark" is. It's a phenomenon. It is one of the best show I've ever seen. This show will leave you with a feeling of thinking about it all the time. And in few years it still will be in a back of your mind. It has So much meaning. But beware you have to pay attention. It's complex. It can be confusing if you don't. And it's slow. But character development is phenomenal. Jonah is my favorite personally. Good job, Germany. Great show. One of a kind. So refreshing.
You Are Wanted (2017)
Season 2 changed it for me
I think all the bad reviews are coming from season 1. It was a slow season and I pretty much didn't like it. I'm glad I gave season 2 a chance. From the start it is packed with actions and suspense. I really enjoyed some new characters and especially the general as a new adversary and their cat and mouse games with Franko. I think season two was a huge step up for the show, in my opinion, which should give it a chance to develop its story further and to be on TV.
Brotherhood (2010)
It's a non stop rollercoaster!
I was on the edge of my sit from beginning to the end. It felt like the movies lasted 10 min. So intense. Great acting and direction. I loved it. I liked seeing situations which just can't let you take a breath! It's getting worse and worse and you think "omg! How are they going to get out of this one!" Also, I felt like I could understand the reasoning behind the decision of characters (Whether it's bad or good). So it's not black and white. Great movie.
Suits (2011)
Great chemistry
What made me want to watch this show is Mike and Hravey chemistry....Amazing duo....There were some good law cases but I was there only to witness their bromance...I skipped 8 season...and only watched Mike's coming back in 8 and 9 season finale....But the finale was spertacular....It brought us back to the beginning and reminded us why we loved it in the first time. Very good show..
Prodigal Son: Like Father... (2020)
I hated it....me personally
I love Malcolm character...and what they did is made his sister the one!
Are you kidding me.....I don't if I want to watch this direction....So predictable..I don't care for a sister character and now they want me to....I will see where it is going...If she takes over I will pass on this show..
The Dare (2019)
Very entertaining!!
The movie is clearly underrated! I think this movie didn't come up to the big screen only because of flash memories that slowed it down. If you cut those scenes it's super cool and entertaining. Loved it.
Doctor Sleep (2019)
Something special
It builds up very slowly. But the third act brings you to the most memorable and brilliant scenes of the Shinning. It gave me chills. And nostalgia. It was so good. If you are a Shinning fan you must see it. The little details like a bar scene and chasing with an axe makes this movie marvelous. It will take you to the past. It will give you that experience you were craving for. It is not shinning and it will never be good as that masterpiece. But this movie will get under your skin if you are a fan.

The Walking Dead: The Day Will Come When You Won't Be (2016)
Brutal, bald, and unforgettable.
It was an excellent start of the season. The acting was brilliant, especially Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Andrew Lincoln. The episode kept me in suspense from the beginning until the end. It was savage, shocking, and emotional. The graphic of course gave dissatisfied with cliffhanger fans a chance to pick on the show even more. I don't think it is the reason to quit the show though. GOT had much more ruthless deaths, however I can't recall so many attempts to manipulate the audience. One, two times is forgivable, but if the audience scream stop, you should stop. Now the specific percentage of the fan community is so offended that they just look for an excuse or writers' misstep to quit. The show can still work for everyone as long as creators listen to critics and work on their mistakes. Otherwise another good show can go bad. Overall , I extremely enjoyed the episode. However it left lots of fans dissatisfied which means it was far from perfect if I would grade it objectively. The greater the show, the higher the expectations.
Teen Wolf (2011)
Keeps getting worse
It was my favorite TV show until this season. It feels like now Scott is not the main character anymore and the plot is more about characters around him. It's now more like a teen drama. Girls' active participation and superpowers seems a bit ridiculous. Everybody discover new abilities. there are foxes, witches, wolves, female-wolves, red eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Come on! Don't turn it into a new fairy tale like "Vampire Diaries." There were 1 Elena, than 2, than 3, 4 etc. (I stooped watching so I don't how many of them there now.) Next season there are will be vampires. Wait for it. I don't watch it anymore but still I miss it and hope for the new turn.
The Blacklist (2013)
Horrible! Following "The Following"
I was completely disappointed right after watching the first episode. I am not sure about Spader's acting skills anymore. I don't believe his character.
The most wanted Criminal walking around the streets, hang out, lives in a hotel. God! This is so stupid! I can't believe public can give good reviews to something like that.
Among such good shows like "Dexter", "Revenge" or "Hannibal" I guess there is always a room for some crappy TV series like "Following" or "Blacklist", in which trailer appeared to be better then TV show itself.
No One Lives (2012)
Gorgeous Luke Evans as a Maniac was a pleasure to watch!
Unexpectedly good plot and chain of actions keep you incensed during the movie. I loved the cast. Luke Evans made the killer character the one who you would enjoy watching whether he is chasing the girl, killing or simply a loving gut. Charisma is felt in each scene. So in this case its not a regular fat loser psychopath with a chain saw but someone who nobody see as potential killer until you cross his line. He is capable of love as well which is not a usual feature for a psycho. It's not original and usual what makes you feel surprised while watching it. You expect something ordinary while the scenery made its own turn.
It's not an outrageous type of big screen picture but definitely worth watching. Leaves very good impression.
Smash (2012)
Smash, welcome back!
That season started not as good as expected. The first one was all about dramatic moments around Ivy Derek and Karen. Although It was never interesting for me to watch second role characters. What I loved about second season is 3 Broadway shows were put in motion. Comedy, Bombshell, and story about love. So it was not about Bombshell only! But something was missing. And probably this dramatic effect that kept audience intense during season 1. Nevertheless starting from episode 7 it turned my interest back. They made gorgeous performances, choreography, songs! New love triangle! Excited about how the plot will be developed. Smash, you surprised me. Keep it this way and hopefully we'll see season 3.
The Following (2013)
Good idea, but Kevin Bacon..ughh!
The show has a good idea. I liked the first episode and started watching it because of charismatic serial killer played by James Purefoy. But the main one is the opposite. The show would be so much better if it was NOT Kevin Bacon. I don't feel sympathy for him. He is annoying. I just want him out of the show. I don't feel this connection between serial killer and FBI agent as it was in Silence of lambs. It's not even comparable. They just don't have it. They try to play it but it should be naturally between actors. And this is why this show goes down to 6 stars. One more thing I don't like is the elements of fantasy. Killer can escape whenever he wants, Nobody ever get caught. Stupid! Do they take audience for idiots? After watching Dexter which is much more professional show and realistic this one is kindergarten. After all James Purefoy keeps me watching this show and we'll see what happens next.
