Imagine if Mike Leigh had directed Confessions of a window cleaner...
Earthy, Coarse, unashamedly Working class, even grotesque in the truest sense of the word but ultimately hilarious. In a nutshell its a few weeks in the pointless sex dominated lives of four men who work together delivering potatoes. Put like that it doesn't seem all that tempting, especially when you consider that those men are played by Johnny Vegas,Mackenzie Crook,Mark Gatiss & Dominic Coleman. However this film is in essence a series of very funny vignettes that explore the crass vulgar and ridiculous nature of lovemaking, Obsession and desire. Please ignore what the vast majority of the film critics have been either forced or paid to say, this film will make you laugh your socks off. Or vomit. Or quite possibly both!
Just one thing however, don't eat anything whilst watching this movie, or if you have to make sure it's a nice strawberry jam sandwich!
