Prey (2022)
Must See for Predator Fans
Wonderful take on the Predator films. Wonderful cinematography is well shot with a beautiful nature landscape that takes the franchise to an earlier timeline pre-dating the earlier films. Taking place in a time when the buffalo roamed. Great casting especially with the lead of Amber Midthunder, who is playing the character of 'Naru' trying to make a rights of passage normally reserved for the other gender of the tribe to prove her worth. The slow pace at the beginning film sets up the time and place and normal way of life of the time period. A wonderfully told story and a fantastic addition to the Preditor franchise.
Werewolf by Night (2022)
Interesting Take on Werewolfs
While I know it is a Marvel project, I know little of the original comic book that it is based upon. As a stand alone film it was an interesting take on Werewolf films and interesting stylization of presentation. Mostly a Black and white film with a subtle use of color. A quality production some familiar faces in the actors. Not a very aggressive film, as to say the effects are not thrown in your face. Great for the small screen, I would have been disappointed had I paid to see it at a theater. I would love to see more on the back story of the character Ted. Nice Cinematography and well done editing, along with wonderful Set Design.
Bottle Monster (2020)
Just like the Classic Hammer Films
Very interesting story that definitely builds as it goes on to an explosive ending. This film is not for everyone, but I think you'll like it if you like great story telling. A well deserve award-winning film worth your attention.
