Good photography, but boring
5 April 2023
Majority of the film are nice pictures, but silent, of someone walking or looking far away. In between, very few dialogues, with few words.

Don't watch this expecting a movie filled with life like L'auberge Espagnole. It's almost a documentary about the life of most people in urban areas nowadays. Alone, looking at their phones, and seeing a psychotherapist to try fixing their sleep issues. I could have looked at myself instead of watching this.

You might like it for the nice shots of Paris life, if you're a big fan of the city. But come to the movie with a lot of energy, because it will drain it.

Mirai (2018)
Not enjoyable
8 August 2022
Watching the kid scream across the whole movie is not very enjoyable as a parent, you get enough of this at home. The kid has "dreams" only an adult could have. The dreams and the flying sequence above the house get repetitive after a few times. I won't recommend to anyone.

What a rom-com should be

Just finished watching this for the first time. Don't let the bad reviews steer you away, this is a funny and good movie, and it doesn't feel dated even though it's almost 30 years old!

Jour de Fête (1949)
Elementary school level of humor

Full of very old jokes that didn't age well. If you laugh at things like walking on a rake, falling into a hole or having a goat eat your letter, than this might be for you. Otherwise, I recommend avoiding it.
