My Sister (2014)

Very touching movie

I caught this movie on Showtime and decided to watch it. I was surprised and really enjoyed the movie. Everyone did a great job on the film. I saw the characters and not the actors/actresses who played them and the topics were something that many debate even today when it comes to putting children on drugs. Many feel that the children are being over medicated. Sometimes that's the case, sometimes it's not. still I liked that it took the time it needed to get to the points of the film and I really loved how it was done. If you haven't gotten a chance to see it. Please watch it. It touched on so many serious subjects and wasn't over dramatic about them. The wife was a piece of work though. Still the ending is really worth watching the movie.

Where Hope Grows (2014)

Such an inspiring movie

I got a chance to watch this and I have to say that it really touched me so much. If you get a chance to watch the movie. Watch it, but you better have some Kleenex handy cause you might need it. Everyone did an excellent job, even the not so nice character in the movie. Still I believe people with Down Syndrome are angels in disguise. They will cheer you up, when you are down. They will get you to believe in yourself when you don't believe in yourself. They are truly love you for yourself and not someone you pretend to be. You will fall in love with this movie, so if you haven't had a chance to watch it. Please rent it and watch it with your family. It will teach them the value of that being different is okay.

Loved it when I first saw it and will always love it. It's one of those 80's movies that tears at your heart strings without being to sappy. It makes the viewer aware that this kind of things are happening in other households and that it's actually something that's real and not made up. If you watch it as a kid and then watch it as an adult you may learn more about it. This is one movie I want on DVD, because it shows that like others have mentioned, it's not a happy ever ending, but a realistic ending. David learns some valuable lessons as he is trying to deal with his guilt of his baby sister's death. Remember when he wanted to save a toy of hers and Clara tells him no. (I haven't watched it in a long time so I don't know exactly what she say, but it's something to think about.) I love this movie and always will. I think everyone should see this movie.

Voyagers! (1982–1983)

A Show to remember..............

I loved Voyagers! the moment I watched the pilot episode in 1982. I was 8 years old. Years later I wanted to share the show, so I posted on youtube.com all 20 episodes (just type in litlbit2001)for anybody who doesn't own the show on DVD. As soon as I heard it was available on DVD I ran out and bought it for less then 50 dollars. The show is what made me pass my history tests in school. I fell in love with the show. If the show would of had a second season Jon-Erik would still be with us. The chemistry between Meeno and Jon-Erik on the show is amazing. Meeno even wrote back to me in an email and said. "Jon-Erik was an amazing guy." You could tell that the chemistry between the two was real. I often wonder what a second season would of been like and if we could see Jeffrey experiencing a few things teenagers do while traveling through time with Bogg. Me I'll always remember the show as part of my childhood.

Driving Lessons (2006)

Totally loved it...............

I had to get this movie, since it didn't come to where I live. I waited patiently and it was worth the wait. I totally fell in love with this movie. The chemistry between Walters and Grint you could see, since they also worked together on the Harry Potter movies.The woman who plays his overbearing, righteous mother really had me convinced all right and how much of a hypocrite she is, I think she did a great job playing the role. I only wish we could of had seen the actually sex scene or more of it. LOL, but of course we just have to use our imagination on how it went down. (snickers) I totally thought the movie was worth the wait and if you want a good movie to watch. Rent this movie. I do have to say that Rupert really did a great job and it's nice to see that he's doing movies outside of Harry Potter,even though I totally love him as Ron Weasley. The whole cast did a great job and I hope Rupert continues to act outside of Harry Potter to broaden his skill!

Deeply (2000)

Beautiful movie

I'm giving this movie a 10. I totally love this movie and got to get it on DVD. The movie told the story of a young girl told to be cursed by the sea. She finds love and well if you haven't seen the film, I won't give away anything. Kirsten Dunst was very good. I liked all of the characters in the whole movie. The scenery was just beautiful too. I try to catch it if it's ever on TV, but if it's not I put in the DVD and watch it. A lot of people didn't like the movie, well that's you, but I liked the movie a lot. So if you watch it and don't like it, maybe it's just not your kind of movie. Some people like certain movies, I'm one of those who likes all kinds of movies, even scary ones. This movie was worth getting and I totally hope people will watch it and pay attention to the story.

I actually have this on VHS. I also saw it in the theater when it came out way back when. This movie to me is one of my favorites. Luke Edwards was very good. I like the whole movie. I can't say anything bad about this movie, because it tugged at my heart strings a lot. It made me laugh (giggle) and it made me almost cry in parts. This movie will always be a favorite. Right now I'm watching LITTLE MONSTERS and wish it was being released on DVD. I would love to get THE WIZARD on DVD. I would also love to get LITTLE MONSTERS on DVD, just cause I love the movie. LOL. I think I'll always love this movie, because it was well done and just seems to me that the whole movie worked well. I don't care about mistakes or anything. I just think that the movie offers an insight of a child's point of view.

Children of the Corn (1984)

I guess when you're younger it can be really frightening. My brother told me that when he was younger he took out the soundtrack of Children of The Corn from the library. He listened to it for about 5 minutes and had to turn it off. He told me it gave him nightmares for about 3 days. He then turned it in and hasn't listened to it since I guess. I actually got the movie on DVD, because I think the movie was well done. Just my opinion. I just don't think movies today are quite like they were in earlier years. (60's, 70's, 80's and 90's) I don't know I just don't think most of the movies have what it takes to scare me anymore. They would rather have lots of gore then scare me psychologically. What you don't see can scare you more. Anyway I'm a big Stephen King fan and I have the Night Shift book and I'm gonna read all the stories in the book. I thought Children of the Corn was good. Just my opinion.

Explorers (1985)

Gotta love the 80's movies

Loved it when I first saw it. I recently (about a month or so ago) got it on DVD. Now I just have to get The Monster Squad on DVD. LOL. This movie is one of my favorites from the 80's. Why? Well for one thing the story and plot were really well done. I remember that every time it came on cable I had to watch it. It doesn't matter how many times I've watched it. It brings back what the 80's movies were all about. There isn't many movies of today that can compare to (a lot of) the 80's movies that were made in that time. I wish a lot of 80's movies were available on DVD. Sadly they aren't so I have to watch them on VHS. A few of them are kinda worn out. Explorers will always be a favorite of mine. Kids today should watch this movie. The special effects aren't overplayed and they fit with the movie just enough for the story. I don't care what anybody says this movie sparks the imaginations in kids and let's them believe that anything is possible when it comes to dreams!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968)

Love this movie

I was born in 1974 and grew up watching this movie whenever it came on TV. For the era of special effects this movie was done as well as good be for it's time. I was so happy it was released on DVD. I also own the soundtrack. To me the movie will forever be a part of my childhood that I will remember fondly. The child catcher kinda scared me, but I truly love all the songs. I'm sometimes catching myself humming one of the songs. Personally this movie to me surpasses MARY POPPINS. As a child growing up in the 70's and 80's there are just those movies that you can never get tired of watching. I seem to fast forward to only one part and that's when Truly is singing about Mr. Potts. (lovely lonely man?) that part just bores me. Dick Van Dyke is also amazing as all the others who were in the movie.

Loved the movie. Inspired me and made me laugh, it made me cry too. Anybody who wants a good movie to watch should watch this movie. It will let you understand how someone rose above and was able to overcome how angry she was. Watch it, you won't regret it.
