The A-Team (2010)
They are who we thought they were....
Think about it for a second. The A-Team series was a fun, action packed series with a lot of violence, but yet so little because no one got seriously hurt or killed. There was always a lot of comedy. There was chemistry between the characters. And we always knew what was going to happen at the end, but we watched it every week. Well, this movie hit it on the spot.
Strengths: Fun!!!!!; contemporarized the story; comedy; editing; simple plot (you don't have to think too hard); same old fashion theme action/violence with no "real" casualties; and casting (the actors do an UNBELIEVABLE job of keeping the characters original to their personality without looking like they're trying to copy the original actors).
Weaknesses: Some of the action was a little too video game like, even for the A-Team; the after credit scenes would've been better during the movie
Conclusion: They are who we thought they were, and I LOVED it. I felt like a kid again with my mother yelling at me telling to go to bed, and I'm 31. :)
Iron Man (2008)
It's Spiderman, It's Superman, It's Batman NO, It's IRON MAN!
Let me say this movie has set a new standard for comic-movie adaptations. It is rare that summer superhero action flicks are GREAT because of the acting, script, and realism; Iron Man has accomplished this!
If you're going in looking for a lot of action, go to Blockbuster and rent Transformers (which I luv also). This movie has 3 major action sequences, but you don't miss the acting because Robert Downey Jr. does such a good job to make you more interested in Tony Stark than Iron Man. Can you imagine a movie where someone is more interested in Peter Parker, Clark Kent, or Bruce Wayne than their super alter egos? Iron Man has done that and more. Don't get me wrong the action is good and the graphics are so amazing you forget you're watching CGI. Go to this film with an open mind, and like many others chatting below on the boards, you will be in your basement attempting to make your own suit of armor.
Turbo Teen (1984)
80's
This show was a part of the 80's car revolution. It was about a teenager who would turn into a red sports car whenever he got hot. He could get hot from the temperature or even if he ate something hot. His feet and hands would become the tires, his eyes the headlights and so on. I actually think he was a convertible. He would turn back to a teen when he cooled back down, and that could happen due to the temperature or water.
LOL He was like a human transformer. I use to watch it like most 80's cartoons. This was kind of corny, but for some reason I remember it. Nothing else to say.
Spider-Man (2002)
Web-Shooters? Where were they? The Goblin Sucked!
Was it just me or did anyone else notice that his webbing came out of his wrist instead of the web-shooters that all of the cartoons and comics use. I can't stand when they change the story like that. Any Spidey fan knows that he uses web-shooters.
AND the green goblin sucked!!!! He looked like an underdeveloped cyborg!!!!! They should of used the kingpin or something.
They need to bring the marvel characters together for a big film. A movie with spidey, hulk, and the x-men would be cool!
