The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas is probably one of THE most overrated films about the extermination of the Je- wait, it's barely even about that, it just brushes over that issue. The film lets us watch a spoilt brat play about in his house, then abuse his power over another child, how am I meant to feel any sympathy at all for this character? The ending is unnecessarily extreme and in my opinion, has warped people's views of the film. Instead of looking at production value and acting talent, they have just focused on events in the closing ten minutes.
Schindler was enough, can we leave the Holocaust to the great film makers please.
