Konvoy (2012)
Underestimated jewel
11 March 2012
"The pain can be relieved.", says the doctor to Ignat, however, his illness is incurable. The medical officers call it "migraine", but what bores into the brain of the hardened officer, is a conscience and desperation for which he and his environment the concept is absent.

The Convoy radically opposes any conventional interpretation pattern to unsettle the viewer with its complex metaphors and concept.

Mafia, police and military reflect each other in corruption and brutality "Now they are really strict up there. Everybody is fed up with the sloppiness." assure the commanders of both state authorities toward Ignat, who refuse to accept the corrosion of the system.

It is a story of human despair and loneliness, even with a good measure of sad humor. The acting feels very natural, almost improvisational, the movies asks you to think and to feel.
