Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
"Sith" Prevails!
It has been my tradition to watch star wars film during 12 midnight, the first showing according to the film's original release date. My reactions for "Phantom Menace" and "Attack of the Clones" are almost the same. Both films weren't able to impress me that much. That into mind, I expected the same thing in "Revenge of the Sith". I wasn't even excited for it anymore. To my surprise, "Revenge of the Sith" was able to charm me back to become a hardcore fan! It was fun and enjoyable. It was astonishing how 2 hours and 20 minutes seemed so short.
"Revenge of the Sith" will give you a "satisfying" feeling. It becomes a bridge that completes the missing information between the latest 2 episodes and 3 episodes that came first. While watching the film I kept on analyzing the movie. I kept on connecting my "star wars" knowledge. I'm happy that it makes good sense. This is obviously a must-see. Even if you are not a big fan or even if you haven't seen all episodes, seeing episode 3 can still be enjoyable because episode 3 has a story of its own and you don't need a lot of Star-Wars knowledge to understand it.

Feng Shui (2004)
The Filipino Take on the Horror Genre Has Evolved
If you categorize this movie with other Filipino horror flicks, "Feng Shui" will definitely stand out. It's one of the few Filipino horror movies that succeeds to gratify viewers. It is really true to its promise - It is really scary!
I didn't expect the enthralling experience this movie gave me. I walked into the cinema thinking that it would be another horror flick taken from cached concepts. I was actually wrong. This is an initial take in terms of the Filipino cinema.
I would also have to commend the outstanding sound and film editing of this film. It's apparently excellent.
Although it wouldn't be very easy to brand this film as "the best Filipino horror flick ever", I would have to say this is one of the best. It totally surpassed my expectations and it made me establish a positive inclination towards the Filipino cinema. It showed me that the Filipino cinema has something excellent to offer. Filipino movies like this can actually blend with outstanding movies abroad.
"Feng Shui" is an enjoyable Filipino horror movie. It deserves all its raves from the mainstream audiences and critics alike.
