The Titan (2018)
mental laziness
First of all, I love Sci-Fi fantasy in any format. But all Sci-Fi lover knows that events must happen for a reason; NOT IN THIS MOVIE.... Things changes without explanation! There is so so much more to say, I almost have no words to describe what an insult this show is to other films with similar plots.
Pathetic acting except maybe 1 or 2 who do just short of average. Most of the dialogue is beyond pathetic, nonsense and lacks any kind of rational thought that you would expect from a human.
As other comment says "I have watched some movies from the bottom 100 list of IMDB and I really think they were better".
Planeta encantado (2003)
a story that mixes aliens, witches and gnomes
This series of "documentary" is nothing more than a perfect collection of beautiful images and non sense theories. Benitez carefully avoids most plausible and probable explanations and attempts to sow ideas without a single scientific evidence. The scientific and historical inaccuracies are constant throughout the series. Benitez mix lies, errors and fraud. According to Benitez's wife "all appeared in the series is 'information' gathered by Benitez himself throughout his career". Archaeology plus scientific error or imagination takes Benítez asserted in Perú that, as seen in the fraudulent "Ica stones" men and dinosaurs coexisted. And of course, the aliens are presents, as you can see in several of its episodes, Benitez speaks for example of the "human fish" from Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, than a thousand years ago visited Dogon people in Mali. Benítez "incurs the racism of fantastic archeology lovers, supporters of granting authorship of no European big monuments to aliens or lost civilizations." Another favorite topics Benítez are Christianity and Jesus of Nazareth. For JJB, the star of Bethlehem was a "bright object capable of leading a caravan over 1,300 kilometers and therefore intelligently guided," rejecting any astronomical phenomenon and theological interpretations that consider that this myth was introduced by the evangelist Matthew. The series has a cost of more than 8 million Euros.... Incredibly the second part is already underway. Anyway, it's 100% JJ Benitez, if you enjoyed his books you can buy this series.
All Is Lost (2013)
Excellent sleeping pill for a plane flight to Asia.
A boring collection of common places and unacceptable errors even in a junior sailor. If it was a short film would have some artistic value. I still thinking why I gave the second star. I faced this movie with high expectations, the trailer was attractive and Robert Redford is a worldwide respected actor. I never imagined that someone with such a strong track record could lend his name to such a mediocre movie. The argument seems to be written by a teenager with no motivation or creativity. A photograph that abuses of close-ups that should create dramatic tension, but only disturb the public for its predictability. The scenes with some suspense was extended until they become unbearable and then it was resolved int the easiest way... again and again. Finally, the biggest loss in this film is the time you waste in the cinema.
Filly Brown (2012)
Very good actress, good script, bad math.
IMHO this film seemed far superior to the IMDb rating. Reading about this rate I discovered that apply a weighted value, the valuation algorithm is secret and applies different "filters". It is quite possible that the highest and lowest votes are discarded. The performance of Gina Rodriguez is so good that many users vote 10, but that does not look at the results. After you see the movie, wait some days before to vote and rate the whole film, 7 or 8 is more accurate and we will look how rating improves. Please do not be discouraged by the low score and enjoy the story and the music. Despite his early death, the actress give us a huge sample of talent.
