What a great idea podcasters coming to Ireland to look into an old case where people disappeared and some were changed forever. I really enjoyed the story dangling just out of reach at every turn and the many red herrings necessary in a good true crime pod cast. Will Forte always a good addition graciously gave up the lead equally with two women and a few men. It was fun watching them each learn and grow as individuals into some pretty good people. Having rather more characters than a simple plot it drew in the town of Botkin with a great variety. Seamus or Jackie is every directors dream actor he rushes in grabs whoever is in his sight and gives a good pounding to them then he realizes he's wrong and moves to the next one. His story is very sad but his character doesn't grant him any sympathy even though I felt for him along with all who this story touched. Dove is formidable a real ball-busting journalist who comes to realize what the shows moto preaches that we all have choices we have to decide what type of person and life do we really want. I felt all was tied up perfectly in the end but not sure why Teddy killed Malachy with a brick. If you know please do fill me in on that one thing! Highly recommend this Orient Express meets scoobie doo series!

I really enjoyed this movie. It was well acted with lots of pathos. Androids taking over is an interesting premise mostly leaving it up to us to decide the details. The couple are so sweet and believable. Algee Smith is loving and kind and Chloe grace Moretz is young and pregnant but together they are trying to get to Boston through a gauntlet of androids and people who are portrayed as one would expect people to act like in an apocalyptic situation. We care about this couple making it and the location and writing are well done with good cast. I recommend it for an afternoon viewing grab the popcorn and enjoy!

What an absolutely beautiful brilliant movie! I just loved it! Peter Dinklage is just one of the most genius actors I've ever seen! He's so intensely present and he truly wears his heart on his sleeve in this version of Cyrano. He is perfectly cast. His Roxanne, Haley Bennet is gorgeously sweet and everything Roxanne appears to be but she indeed shows she has more depth then anyone has allowed. The production was just amazing! I loved how the songs and the music overlapped each other. The romantic locations set in a renaissance Europe lent an extra beauty to an already romantic mood! Kelvin Harrison did such a wonderful final act his realization that they both loved Roxanne was so touching. Heaven will be where I fall was sung through this year jerking ending. I was so moved to tears by this charming romantic beautifully acted movie. All the cast and crew were amazing I must say supporting roles were also on point Brian Tyree was a perfect comrade! This movie was so moving just loved it all!

Loved the look of the 1950's England location. Saoirse Ronan Is superb in her role as the novice cop learning from the inspector played by Sam Rockwell. Sam's understated performance plays nicely against the young constables witty banter. The merging of theatre and reality are played so very sophisticated by the actors to draw you into the movie and the wonderful ending allows us to be part of the whole production! Dear Agatha Christie is revered and paid homage to in this film! The look and location as well as the lovely story are very worth spending an afternoon with this one! It's a light fun well produced movie grab some popcorn and enjoy!

Hayden Christensen Is brilliant as Anakin Skywalker! Loved the young anakin (Jake Lloyd) he was a little genius and this seems a great transition into the young man Anakin becomes! After watching all the movies and stories on Disney + in order I'm more and more appreciative of Hayden's performance. Padme is so sweetly done by Natalie Portman. Seeing how these dark politicians do everything in their power to corrupt this young man into the Darth Vader he becomes and how Obi Wan and Yoda are no help whatsoever in being a true friend and trying to help him, I feel for Anakin so glad Luke helps him in his end.

Really enjoyed this little mini series. Melissa Barrera was awesome she really learned a lot through the trauma of survival. The use of flashbacks or just having family walking with her as she continues to survive in the Alaskan wilderness is very moving and for her cathartic. Love how she begins to understand her fear of having a child and a relationship and how her past with her father and absence of her mother play out as she searches for help in the wilderness. Her father keeping the messages from her mom from her made her realize she missed out on a lot in life and her pregnancy and new relationship starts to become an inspiration for her to keep going! The whole film relies heavily on this young actress and I thought she did a great job!

This Elvis portrayal was very believable even his family thought so. The actor Austin Butler was fantastic! He had his smile and voice down pat! The dancing was pretty good too. Singing was good! I'm a long time fan of Elvis so I was sceptical of what this portrayal would be like but it was brilliant! Oscar worthy.
Tom Hanks as coronel Parker was amazing. He wasn't fat enough but he really seemed to be the Carney that Parker was. It's a real insight into their relationship. So much has been written about Elvis I felt they covered what was necessary and I enjoyed just sitting back and shedding a tear watching this movie! Reminded how my mom loved Elvis so much!
I highly recommend this movie!

I was happy to see a movie of Marylyn Monroe; being a fan of hers since I was very little. I was not expecting that they could capture her charm but boy was I wrong! Ana deAmas was brilliant as Marilyn she absolutely channeled her essence! Loved this actress! She deserves an Oscar! She was Marilyn Monroe and that is by no means easy to portray! To be honest it took me awhile to watch it because I feared it wouldn't seem at all like her so glad I finally watched it!
Most of the story was well known to me having read books and saw all movies and documentaries and magazines about her but I was pleasantly surprised to see new items about her Hollywood at that time period.
They did show the abuse she suffered from Joe DiMaggio! The Arthur Miller abuse was down played and Marylyn was extra hurt by him. The Kennedy's treatment of Marilyn are still appalling to me and the film did a good job in showing this.

Enjoyed the mood created in this film but not much else

The acting in this film was low key; father, mother, child and android acted so similar it made it easy to feel confused between a person and android.
The problem is that people just don't act like this and androids copying that behaviour doesn't convey the message this film was striving for, which I believe to be that the android understood and had feelings. I'm never sure if the memories Yang kept of the touching moments in the people's lives he worked for was due to him thinking these moments precious and worth remembering, or was he confused because he didn't feel anything and kept them to analyze. His one conversation on death seemed to be totally analytical.
The child actress Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja was amazing and the parents relationship with her seemed very distant and far too tranquil. It seems evident Yang had the job of raising her! We understand her grief by a few moments where she acts out at school, but for the most part we feel her grief through her depression and her inability to sleep.
Colin Farrell the father is so subdued he pretty much disappears. Though he is interested in viewing Yang's memory moments and locating the clone from Yangs secret relationship. Nothing much is done with either the spy ware or the clone. It's as if the father is an android too because he never remarks on anything save the clone and doesn't give us any indication what he thinks about any of Yangs memories.
Jodie Turner Smith as mother is given practically no dialogue and seems completely removed from the family. Quietly smiling is about all we get from her. Why they chose to do this I'm not sure but it puts her in a bad light, where you wonder if she is even necessary or maybe she is an android too.
I can't really recommend this movie but if you are studying how to create a depressed mood with low light and limit dialogue study this one.

Alexander skarsguard is an amazing Tarzan very believable and so very energetic! Swinging through the trees etc all fabulous performances! Margo Robbie is brilliant as his Jane and their chemistry is fantastic! She is a real darling in this movie a very lovable Jane! I Loved all the action in this one movie. Best Tarzan movie yet! Great story! Perfect cast! Dijimos Houndou did a great job of playing Chief Mbonga. Samuel Jackson always an excellent choice loved how his investigations resulted in him sticking it to the enslavers! I know that others found flaws but having seen and enjoyed all the Tarzan movies I think I'll pick this as a favourite even though I loved Legend of Greystoke with Christopher Lambert who was also a very good Tarzan!

Warwick Davis is an awesome actor a favourite of mine since he played Wicket in Star Wars and all of his many cameos in all the Star Wars movies. The tv series Life's too short was a master piece.
I digress, I was thrilled with the movie Willow! It was a marvellous story and the cast was superb! I was so happy to see this series of that movie!
The series has a lot of characters that are slowly developing and the story is very interesting and does highlight things from the movie to help explain the relationships in the series. A key character MadMartigan is missing having gone on a quest for a special Curiss, but many of our favourites from the movie are here in season 1 Johanna Whately as Sorsha looks amazing she is very strong and beautiful as she was in Willow the movie. The brownies make a brief appearance in their usual humorous way. Sorsha's and Madmartigan's children Arik and Kit are completely a combination of both their parents. Warwick Davis and Elora Danan are brilliant together after all the years apart. Arik is taken by some creatures and so Sorsha sends Kit and Jade with a band of new characters to get Willow to help find him. Boreman and prince Grayson round out the quest team along with Jade who is Kits warrior girlfriend. The series is very much in keeping with the movie but it's a slow introduction to the new characters and to Elora learning her place as the sorcerous she must become! Looking forward to season 2!

Love this holiday special all the favourites from Guardians of the Galaxy with a sad but sweet saving Christmas for Quill(Chris Pratt) ! Mantas and Drax are awesome going back to earth to find Kevin Bacon who they had heard a lot about from Quill! Wanting to cheer Star Lord up. They bring Kevin to Nowhere and it is decorated by our favourites Rocket. Groot, Nebula, kraglen, and a good variety of beloved aliens! Kevin sings with a great band and gifts are exchanged. Many Easter eggs in the gifts given! The best one I'll leave as a surprise for you too see! This will delight any marvel universe fans! It was such a sweet short film and really well done by all! Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Taissa Farmiga Gives a beautiful performance of a trouble teen. Mark Strong is brilliant at creating intense emotions for every character in the movie!
Mark is a man who can enter into other peoples memories and is hired by various therapists and police to aid in solving issues. Though right from the start, we see Mark himself is having a few of his own issues trying to get over being stuck in a sad past of his own. He is sent to help a young teen Taissa who is refusing to eat and has past trauma. Their sessions are fascinating to watch and are the basis of the plot! Loved it grab some popcorn and enjoy!

I love this show it has absolutely fascinated me with the story. I want to know what happened to Ellen, what will happen to everyone in it.
Everything that you think you know, you have to just throw it out when the next show comes on and it all changes. There is something so wonderful about watching it unfold.
The characters are so interesting; dark and deep. I cannot begin to know what will happen and that cannot be said for much that is on television. I love the unique flavour of this show,the gritty reality. So often people have romanticized the roles of saloon girls and cops and this show does not do that at all, sure some might find that too explicit but they can go watch the regular formula stuff on the bland networks.I find this whole series absolutely perfect. Can't wait to see it each week.
