Dr. Alvin E. Harris has a son, William Fancis Harris that has a gun and he took me to see Larry Hanson who sounds like a Rock Star. He's disappeared but he had Cocaine and a 6-gun. I think I was called The Pretender by The Pretenders.

The Monkey's Paw (1978)
This movie really scared me.
My friends and I went to a theater in downtown Salt Lake City to see this and all thought it was a terrific horror. It was a long time ago but I think an amputated hand was a cause of bad luck. When I moved to where I live now we found the lower leg of a horse or a donkey. It reminded me of the monkey's paw but I thought it was grotesque and that it was a good idea not to be superstitious. After a few years I had a series of heart attacks and had ro be hospitalized for approximately a month. I've never felt such pain and consider the monkey paw might be a graven image or be the carrier of a tropical disease.
Enter the Dragon (1973)
Excellent Movie - I got to watch it at home.
Roosevelt Junior High in Salt Lake City, Utah had a lot of fights. In 8th Grade I was walking there and a small gang walked up to me and the leader, Jack Loveless, said, "let's fight". The gang was 4 or 5 people and I hit Jack on the Ileft cheek. I hit him for as long as possible and a gang member said, "if you win we're going to kill you". I turned and continued down the alley towards the school and one of the gang hit me on the nose from behind. Led Zeppelin has a song that says, *the heart of the gods got a punch on the nose - I. Think I might be sickened*. I think they refer to me because Top Jimmy or Top Jimmy Page are my stage name. After that I had to take Karate lessons and defend myself.
Heavy Metal (1981)
Took my ride home and Heavy Metal Noise
This movie is totally animations & the soundtrack to Heavy Metal is a genre of hard rock that is similar to punk rock. I had an audience with a band in the San Francisco Bay Area in about 1981. When I got home to Salt Lake City I was surprised to see Brad Collins was the owner/operator of a record store; Positively 4th Street. Phil Collins sounds very sinister on his smash hit, *Coming in the Air Tonight". I sang for the Heavy Metal band Jynx in Burlingame, California and in the evening afterwords at Folsom Studio. They drove off without me, late at night, and a Professional Band nearby probably inspired great things like MTV.
Ben (1972)
I saw a sea of rats while I was driving.
Ben is about friendly rats and the song, "Ben" is pretty good. I was driving Taxi near Highway One near Dana Point and I got a call. The passenger was one of the Military and I took him to a bar. While I was turning around after dropping him off I parked by the side of the road. I noticed a sign that said, "China Beach" .that looked like a scene from Ben. Nobody has confirmed it but thousands of huge rats were swarming over the sign. They were in a path of about 4 or 5 rats in a line maybe a quarter of a mile visible in the dark. .
The Wizard of Oz (1939)
Mary Lou moved into my house in 1973 and I can never get over how she looked like Judy Garland..
Mary Lou Godbe told me her family had lived near, or in, Hollywood before moving to Salt Lake City. She said they did and that her Great Grandfather was William Samuel Godbe. I I wondered because I drove a California Yellow Cab and one day I noticed 2 rainbows in the sky. I've never thought of chasing a rainbow before or since then but that day a Pot of God with the end of the rainbow in it appeared on my front seat.
Easy Rider (1969)
The Doors are my favorite band and I still drive a 750 V-twin.
My mother took me to this movie in '69 and I thought the LSD scenes were OK. When I asked her to get it on though, it was our last good-bye and that was 40 years ago.
