My Amanda (2021)
*sigh*
Ho hum... To call it boring is an understatement. The plot was not remotely interesting at all. I was surprised with Alessandra's performance. She seemed like a rookie trying to do so much to give life to bland scripts and dull scenes, to give the illusion that she was shining in her craft. No amount of acting and diction can save an atrocious dialoge and lifeless scenes. I found her speech irritating as she sounded like a dude.
Black Summer (2019)
Meh...
I barely remember season 1. I am only on 1st episode of season 2 but I felt compelled to rate it. Unrealistic expectations and full of garbage dialogue. I don't think I will be continuing on with the rest of the episodes.
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)
on the right track
My real rating is 8.5. Giving it a 10 due to all the naysayers giving it a 1. There is no movie with these effects that deserve a 1. The story is so-so and it is probably because there are a few major questions left unanswered and I will probably be answered in the following sequels. The acting and the air around the whole film is a huge leap forward compared to episodes 1-3. I like the way they created it. The production also kept the tech relatively consistent in relation to episodes 4-6. The only thing I disliked was the antagonist (you will know what I mean when you watch the movie). I look forward to the continuation of this promising set.
