Fantastic

I remember watching this 1937 animated film when I was a child. I've watched it about several times and it's absolutely brilliant. Its animation looks very colourful and beautiful. Its songs are totally unforgettable such as Heigh-Ho (which is one of my favourite Disney songs of all time), Whistle While You Work, Silly Song and Someday My Prince Will Come. It never gets old and it will always be a timeless classic.

I know it is the first animated film to be ever made by Disney. Disney are a total geniuses.

My favourite characters are Grumpy, Doc, Sleepy, Dopey, Snow White and Evil Queen (she's also one of my favourite Disney villains of all time).

It's not too bad but it's still entertaining.
25 April 2024
I watched the first episode of this Brazilian cartoon for the first time on Netflix (UK and Ireland) via my Samsung Galaxy tablet last night (24-04-2024). It's not too bad for myself but it's still kinda very entertaining and interesting. I've heard it's based on a Brazilian comic character of the same name. I thought I never heard anything about it before in my entire life.

It is the first Brazilian animated programme I have ever watched on Netflix.

I think my favourite characters are Nutty (Maluquinho) Juliet (Julieta) and Bazoo (Bocão).

If you're a fan of foreign comic series, you'll enjoy this on Netflix.

One of my favourite 1980s films of all time
26 March 2024
I've watched this 1984 American film about several times and it's a great film. It's one of my favourite 1980s films. The acting is great especially from Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd as well. I have it on both Blu-Ray and DVD. It will never get old and it will always be a timeless classic. It might be perfect for Halloween. I always love it.

Forget its 2016 reboot, it's probably one of the best 1980s films of all time.

I think I saw some bits of it for the first time when I was a kid. Sometimes it's very hard to remember anything especially our childhood years, you know.

By the way, its theme song sounds really iconic.

Fantastic
26 March 2024
I saw this at the Omniplex (formerly Swan Cinemas) in Rathmines by my own on Saturday the 13th of January 2024. It's absolutely fantastic. It's kinda rude but it's still worth watching. I just love it. The acting is great especially from Emma Stone herself.

It was the first film rated 18 to be distributed by the Walt Disney Studios I ever saw at cinemas.

We know it's definitely not suitable for children because it has lots of bad language, violence and naughty things.

I'd like to watch it again sometimes. I will get it on both DVD and Blu-Ray someday and also I will watch it on Disney Plus someday.

It's probably one of the best 2020s films of all time.

Rubbish
26 March 2024
I saw this at the cinema with my friend in summer 2016. We thought it was good but it's not really good as the original 1984 version. It's absolutely rubbish. It's kinda very stupid and mediocre as well.

Some reboots/remakes aren't very good as the orignal ones.

I prefer to the original 1984 version. I'd say it's definitely way better than this lousy 2016 reboot.

If you're reading this, don't watch it. Go and watch the original 1984 version instead. Try not to waste your money on this rubbish on DVD nor Blu-Ray. Avoid it as you would an arrow.

I'm afraid I'll just have to forget about it and move on.

My most favourite Ice Age film in the series of all time
19 March 2024
I've watched this 2002 American animated film about several times. It's kinda very entertaining and funny. The animation looks very good. The voice acting is great especially from Dennis Leary himself.

It's my most favourite Ice Age film in the series of all time and my favourite characters are Diego and Scrat as well.

I remember I went to see it at the IMC Savoy Cinema with my mother in spring 2002 and we thought we enjoyed it. It was the first 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios but I still don't care) animated film I ever saw at cinemas.

If you are a fan of prehistoric animals, you'll love this.

Amazing
15 March 2024
I remember watching the most of this 1939 American animated fantasy film when I was a preteen. It was shown on the BBC about twice in the early 2000s. I thought I never saw any old American animated feature films like that before in my entire life. It may be one of the most underrated animated films of all time but it's still amazing.

It definitely wasn't produced by Disney but it was produced by their fellow competitor Fleischer Studios and it was disturbed by Paramount Pictures, a subsidiary of Paramount Global (formerly known as ViacomCBS) as we know.

I'm sure this never gets old and it will always be a timeless classic.

One of my childhood memories
27 February 2024
I used to love this Nickelodeon's cartoon when I was a child. It was shown on Nickelodeon (also on Nick Jr. And Nicktoons), BBC as a part of their children's block CBBC, UTV via ITV as a part of their children's block CITV and RTÉ 2 years ago. I thought found it very entertaining. My favourite character in Rugrats is Chuckie.

I really don't like Angelica herself because she's a spoilt brat. She is always being very mean to babies especially her cousin Tommy like calling them dumb babies. She is very naughty indeed. She gets into a lot of trouble at all times as well.

Forget its silly 2021 reboot, it's probably one of the best Nickelodeon cartoons of all time. I'd say the original version is definitely way better than that 2021 reboot series.

Absolute stinker
29 January 2024
I've only seen some bits of this 1980s film on the internet before. I thought I never watched any 1980s films like that before in my entire life. It doesn't look very good as ET the Extraterrestrial. It appears to be a total rip off of the same 1982 film. Besides I really don't like it at all.

I've heard it's utterly rubbish. I'm sure it is one of the worst films of all time.

I'd say ET the Extraterrestrial (1982) is way better than that awful 1988 film.

Orion Pictures (which is owned by MGM) should definitely be sued by Universal for copying their beloved franchise ET the Extraterrestrial, you know.

If you dislike this film, don't watch it. Don't attempt to waste your money on DVD nor Blu-Ray.

Go and watch ET the Extraterrestrial instead.

I've watched this 1988 Disney/Touchstone fantasy comedy film many times and it's absolutely fantastic. I always love that film. It's one of my favourite 1980s films of all time and it's one of the best 1980s films of all time as well. The acting is brilliant especially from Christopher Lloyd and Bob Hoskins themselves. Robert Zemeckis sure did a great job for directing the same film. I'd say he's a total genius.

It never gets old and it will always be a timeless classic. It's a true masterpiece.

I still have it on DVD.

I remember watching it for the first time when I was a tot and I thought I found it very entertaining. It never frightened me. Not even when I was a child.

My most favourite Simpsons episode of all time. Forget the modern era of The Simpsons, it's also one of the best classic Simpsons episodes of all time.
24 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I've watched this classic Simpsons episode loads of times. It's great, entertaining and funny. It's my most favourite Simpsons episode of all time. It never gets old and it will always be a timeless classic. It's just a brilliant episode.

The Skinner and Superintendent segment also known as "Steamed Hams" is my favourite part of this episode. It's definitely the best part of this episode ever seen. It has become a very popular internet meme since 2016. Superintendent yells, "SEYMOUR!" always cracks me up!

Another best part of this episode where an extremely tall bloke humiliates Nelson to teach him a lesson as a part of his revenge and it is also my favourite part of this episode.

This is the far best Simpsons episode I have ever watched.

Childhood memories
24 January 2024
I used to watch this 1980s cartoon when I was younger. It was shown on Channel 4/ITV, now-defunct TCC and RTÉ 2 years ago. It was also shown on TnaG (now TG4) in the middle of the 1990s and it was dubbed in Irish Gaelic.

I always loved Inspector Gadget. It's one of my favourite cartoons of all time. It never gets old and it will always be a timeless classic. Its theme song never gets old and it will always be timeless well. I'd say it's definitely way better than that silly 2015 reboot.

In the 1982 pilot episode of the same popular cartoon, Gadget had a moustache but however it was removed in subsequent episodes because now-defunct DIC was about to get sued by MGM as the character looked too similar to Inspector Clouseau from the Pink Panther franchise.

Worst Simpsons episode ever!
24 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Despite The Simpsons being a great adult cartoon, this is one of the worst Simpsons episodes of all time! I've watched it on Sky 1 (now Sky Showcase) about few times and it's absolutely awful! I just hate it!

It follows the Springfield Isotots win a Little League championship game, but when Bart makes an error that costs the team the championship, the townspeople refuse to let him forget it. Poor Bart is being jeered by the townspeople for losing the game and they start disliking him so much. This has been driving Bart into madness and he attempts to commit suicide.

The character Joe LaBoot himself is being really unlikeable. He insults Bart for losing the game and he drives him into attempting suicide well. What an ungrateful jerk he is. I'd say he's probably one of the most hated characters in the entire Simpsons franchise.

It's utterly unwatchable and forgettable.

The bad new is the same episode is available on Disney Plus. I'll just have to totally ignore it and forget about it. This bad Simpsons episode shouldn't be available on Disney Plus. It should be removed from Disney Plus, you know.

Speaking of its episode title, it's definitely a real bummer.

If you're reading this, avoid it as you would an arrow.

A Pal for Gary is one of the worst SpongeBob Squarepants episodes of all time
17 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
A Pal for Gary is one of the worst SpongeBob Squarepants episodes I've ever seen. I watched it on Nickelodeon (UK and Ireland) about few times. It's absolutely terrible! It's just so unfunny and unwatchable. I absolutely hate it.

In this episode, SpongeBob gets a pet called Puffy Fluffy to keep Gary company while he isn't home, but the creature plans to eat Gary.

The lady warns SpongeBob Squarepants about the green creature that terrorises pets but SpongeBob doesn't listen to her and he ignores her warnings about the same creature.

SpongeBob is such a complete idiot. He's just really stupid.

SpongeBob tells Gary to put Puffy Fluffy down even when Gary is going to be devoured in the monster's mouth. Is he blind or something?

At least Puffy Fluffy does get his comeuppance for his actions after being whipped in the face by Gary, getting his mouth tied up, and then running away, which is hilarious and thankfully he never appears again after this atrocious episode. I'd say he's definitely one of the most hated characters in the entire SpongeBob Squarepants franchise.

Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful isn't very good as the other SpongeBob Squarepants episodes. It's just mediocre for me. Poor Squidward who gets caught littering and gets sentenced to community service about too many times.

I'm not gonna watch those bad episodes of SpongeBob Squarepants again. Not even on Paramount Plus. I'll just have to totally forget about them and move on.

Timeless classic
7 January 2024
I remember this children's television programme. I used to watch it when I was younger and it was shown on Channel 4 in the 1990s. I heard it was shown on the BBC in between 1965 and 1977. I thought I found it very entertaining.

Eric Thompson did a great job for narrating this series.

Back in summer 2005, I watched some extras in the DVD of The Magic Roundabout when I was fifteen years old and I revealed the classic children's television programme of the same name was originally made in France. I did not even know that The Magic Roundabout was French. I thought it was made in the UK.

Anyway I still like The Magic Roundabout. My favourite characters are Dougal, Zebedee, Dylan and Florence.

I remember watching The Magic Roundabout, a 2005 French-British CG animated film when I was a teenager. I saw it at the Ormonde (then UCI, now Odeon Stillorgan) in the beginning of March 2005 when I was fourteen years old (turned fifteen in April same year). It's alright for myself and I still like it though. I know it's based on a popular kids' television programme by a French fella Serge Danot.

I never watched the American version of a 2005 French-British CG animated film of the same name. I've heard it's absolutely awful. I'm sure it's rubbish. I'd say the British version is definitely way better than that lousy American version.

By the way that American version doesn't even make any sense to me at all.

One of my favourite 90s cartoons of all time
7 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I used to love this 1990s American cartoon when I was a kid. I thought I found it very entertaining and funny especially Red Guy himself. Red Guy always cracks me up and he's probably one of the funniest cartoon villains of all time. It's one of my favourite 1990s cartoons of all time as well.

The voice acting is great especially from Charlie Adler himself.

It was shown on RTÉ 2 in the 1990s. I heard it was shown on Cartoon Network (UK and Ireland) years ago.

It may be basically Cartoon Network's answer to its competitor children's television station Nickelodeon's Ren and Stimpy.

I am an adult and I still enjoy watching Cow and Chicken.

I remember watching this British adult animated comedy web series for the first time on DVD in summer 2003 when I was thirteen years old. I thought I never watched any adult animation like that before in my entire life. It's kinda very funny but my father thinks it is not good as the other adult animated TV series such as The Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy.

We know it's about the mini-adventures of a juvenile ginger-haired troublemaker. This brat who normally gives his father a very hard time and he also bullies his sister and even his best friend, Speccy. His misbehaviour has been driving his father mad.

The YouTube series is pretty decent for myself, by the way.

Mediocre
1 January 2024
I remember that 2000s French-British adult animated comedy TV programme. Back in October 2007, I only watched one episode of it while going on a holiday in Paris, France. I was seventeen in that year. It was dubbed in French. Wish I could understand French. It's not very good as the other adult cartoons such as The Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy. It's kinda mediocre. It appears to be offensive towards Christians (especially Catholics) like making fun of them. That's just not very nice, is it?

I'm sure it has already been banned in the UK and my home country Ireland except the DVD version.

As a Roman Catholic, I thought I found that French-British adult cartoon was offensive and insulting.

If you're reading this, avoid it as you would an arrow.

Classic
1 January 2024
Forget its 2010 reboot/remake, this is probably one of the best 1980s films of all time. About years ago I watched some bits of it on TV3 (now Virgin Media One) and I thought I never saw any 1980s films like that before in my entire life. In late 2014, I watched the whole film on DVD. It's brilliant and the acting is very good especially from Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita, William Zobka snd Elizabeth Shue themselves. It never gets old and it will always be a timeless classic.

I'd say it's definitely way better than its 2010 reboot/remake which is kinda boring and it's not great as its original 1984 version.

If you are a fan of karate films, you'll like this.

I always love trains.
30 December 2023
I used to love this British children's television programme when I was a child. It is one of my favourite children's television programmes and my favourite characters are Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon, Harold, Annie, Clarabel, Emily, Toby, Henry and The Fat Controller as well. I am thirty-three years old and I am still watching Thomas. That's why I always love trains. I'd say Thomas is probably the UK's favourite locomotive.

Forget its 2021 American-Canadian reboot Thomas and Friends: All Engines Are Go, it's one of the best British children's television programme of all time. I'd say the orignal series (especially the ones from 1980s and 1990s) is definitely way better than its 2021 American-Canadian reboot which looks terrible. Besides I never watched its reboot. I don't even bother to watch it. I'd say the major American toy company Mattel has already ruined the beloved British franchise.

If you're a great fan of trains, you'll love this.

I've watched some episodes of this 1998 Japanese anime TV series on Netflix (UK and Ireland).

I thought I never heard anything about it before in my entire life. By the way I watched the series for the first time in February 2023.

Anyway this series is brilliant and I love it.

The animation looks beautiful and colourful as well.

The voice acting is pretty good.

My favourite characters are Spike, Jet, Faye, Ed and Ein.

It's probably one of the best Japanese anime TV series I have watched.

I always love the anime especially the fantasy and science fiction ones.

If you are a fan of the anime, you'll definitely love this.

I've watched it about few times I think and it's kinda hilarious. It always cracks me up. The acting is great especially from Will Farrell himself. He sure did a great job for playing as Buddy, a main protagonist.

It's probably one of the funniest Christmas films of all time and it's probably one of the best Christmas films of all time as well.

It never gets old and it will always be a timeless classic.

The character Buddy himself is just mad as a hatter, isn't he?

I watched it for the first time on DVD in late November 2004 when I was fourteen years old.

If you enjoy watching Christmas films, you'll definitely love this.

I've watched this 1970s superhero film about several times I think and it's absolutely brilliant. The acting is also fantastic especially from the late Christopher Reeve himself. John Williams has done the theme song for the same 1970s film and I'd say he's a genius composer.

I always love that DC superhero film.

Thunderbirds meets South Park
10 November 2023
I remember watching this 2004 black comedy film for the first time on DVD in May 2005 when I was fifteen years old. It's kinda very crude but it's actually hilarious especially the evil dictator himself. He always cracks me up! I'd say he's probably one of the funniest film villains of all time and it's one of the funniest films of all time as well.

We know it's from the same creators of South Park.

Those marionettes are pretty similar to the ones from a popular 1960s British science fiction television programme Thunderbirds by Gerry Anderson and iother related programmes such as Stingray and Captain Scarlet.

I think my sister stills has it on DVD.
