Your head will be full of Stan
27 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This film exceeds expectations of a remake. Especially the noir style and period. The acting, the set, costume and makeup are near perfection. You couldn't ask for a better cast. Spoiler Alert**.

Im still haunted by Stan's laughter and tears mixed together when he states " I was born for it".

Well done!

Bliss (I) (2021)

What's this about? No clue... and I watched the entire film.
7 February 2021
First off, this movie wasn't miscast. Owen Wilson delivered a pretty solid performance, considering this wasn't his usual lighthearted "type cast" role. I was fascinated, then confused, then enlightened; only to be left what in the world was the true meaning of this film, once the ending credits started playing. I really didn't know if the intent wasn't Sci- Fi, or a story of a down and out man who, due to being down on his luck was lured into a horrible drug habit while being convinced that these drugs would give him special powers and could take him to "the real world" ( which was an alternate and beautiful place).

I wouldn't discourage anyone from watching, as a matter of fact the film is lost in translation so much that I think it promotes worthy conversation over drunks with friends.

Classic Eddy Murphy
26 October 2019
He's Baaaccckk! This story was made to be played by none other than Eddy Murphy. Eddie is en fuego channeling the swag that Dolemite possessed. What a great film and although I knew about Dolemite, I learned a lot more.

A+ for Escaping the realities of divorce and life
28 July 2019
Listen up! I'm divorced, and like Phoebe in this show, I'm a 3x'er. Don't pay attention to the negative comments. This is Sex in The City for older and divorced rich gals set in Cali. It's eye candy... The ladies are gorgeous, with amazing clothes, earrings to die for, and homes that are all decorated like an an Architectural Digest cover photo. They don't have the one liner quo-tables like SITC but it's a lighthearted show, and there are some relatable moments. Totally!

If you're looking for depth and thought provoking moments, I guess you wouldn't like it. It is, what it is... an escape and a feel good show.
