Not to Forget (2021)
10 star!!
I don't understand why this is being presented as an Alzheimer's film, while it is really a movie about loss. Chris lost his mother and, over the years, lost himself. This is actually much better than what I expected, though the marketing was somehow misleading.
Horrorific (2018)
Love love LOVE
My brother suggested I give it a watch and he could not have been more right. The actors are perfect, the costumes and setting make this series all the better. I highly recommend a watch!
Betrayed (2018)
Good
Highly recommended. I wasn't too keen on it at first after my brother kept telling me to watch it.
The Second Coming of Christ (2018)
GOOD
I am feeling myself luck for watching an awesome action movie after so long. I would love to convey my gratitude to Daniel Anghelcev too. These guys are talented and know their work really well. Thanks to the whole team for making our weekend awesome!
Chimera Strain (2018)
one helluva ride
Normally i don't like indie low budget flicks but was dragged to this one by a friend. boy was i in for a surprise, what a ride, i would've rated it higher if it wasn't;t for the low budget where you can see they cut corners in some places
A Guidebook to Killing Your Ex (2016)
I watched the movie twice
I went to see this movie on a friday night with low expectations, thinking it will be an average fluff heist Comedy movie. If you want a non-stop edge of the seat comedy movie, with a huge twist, GO watch this. It's definitely one of the best heist movies I have seen in a long time. Loved the twist in the end.
The Humanity Bureau (2017)
Loving it!
I'm hooked after seeing this movie, it's a great installment in The Humanity Bureau. The effects are incredible. I love characters played Noah Kross and Rachel Weller, A dystopian thriller set in the year 2030.The script is very engaging, I watched it and wanted to watch it again. Acting is wonderful, my wife also think so!
The Northlander (2016)
Ignore the low ratings
I just saw this movie and I am very happy I ignored the reviewers. I have watched so much movies in history (even the black and whites) and this was a great story! There was humour, great special affects, the story was strong, the acting was great, I didn't lose interest for 3 minutes during the entire movie! If you couldn't follow the story - you are an imbecile. I hope they realize that there are a lot of us who LOVED the movie! Ignore the whiners! I will go see it AGAIN!
The Forgiveness (2017)
I really liked this film
I truly loved the movie. The fact that it takes way too long to uncover anything about the plot is not a problem for me, but apparently it was for many people. If you are able to just keep asking questions until the very end of the film then this is for you. The plot was really intriguing and original. To me it was a great action and it did a perfect job at scaring the hell out of me without even a single jump scare. Easily one of my favorite films of this month, and the best of recent years with the next one being split.
Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage (2014)
Wow see this
My family and I were fortunate enough to get to experience this movie in theaters. We loved the costumes the most, very authentic... It is most definitely a must see! 'Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage' uses stop-motion animation that looks nicely cartoonish and retro.
I have been waiting for this movie for a while, and needless to say, was anticipating it to be an instant classic, and guess what?? IT WAS! The whole look and feel of this movie is a classic. The production value is low, the super animation and mix of CGI make it fun. The script is a short version of the original " Seventh Voyage of Sinbad ( one of my all time favs). I enjoyed this 100 times more than the terrible job they did on the remake of the Clash of the Titans. If you have an hour and a half to waste go see it and have yourself a great laugh. This will make it into my DVD collection when it hits the shelves. Hungry men don't ask they take! For my old school Sinbad fans.
Wheels (2014)
"Wheels" ticks all the boxes for me. 10/10
I saw this movie at a free screening last week not knowing what to expect, and I have to say it certainly surprised me. The story was well written and the direction was very well executed. The acting was great overall. The actors portraying the 2 main characters were simply superb and both worked together wonderfully. You could really feel their friendship connect and grow stronger throughout the film, not just because of their similar disabilities but more on the level of the pain and suffering both physically and mentally which they both have fallen victims to throughout their lives. "Wheels" certainly played with my emotions. Whether it be from its originally recorded soundtrack which was extremely well executed throughout the film, it had me in a state of indignation, it had me laughing and crying and that overall feeling of anticipation which few films are able to accomplish.
Overall I thoroughly recommend checking this film out. Especially considering well written films which have true meaning are few and far between nowadays.
Interview with a Hitman (2012)
Worth Watching
It's funny but I saw the opening with Victor talking to a man with Chinese features. I discovered that there is nothing more interesting than a film in which another man interviews a hit-man and the shows it from the filmmaker's perspective. The fascinating thing is that later on it turns out that as cold as the man Viktor was in the beginning of the movie he makes up for it later. The way he does this is by becoming more warm and gentle. Since gentleness is not a part of his character, he becomes that way when he rescues a beautiful woman from her kidnappers. Only then does he let her melt his cold heart yet and he lets his evil desires to kill go away for a while in search of a happier life.
Reminiscence (2014)
A surprise scary movie with many terrific and emotional scenes.
Reminiscence is a very unique horror movie produced by Akcay Karaazmak fallows the story about one couple (Michaela Rexova, Akcay Karaazmak), that experimenting time breaks and black holes.
The most interesting thing about this movie is its very unique script. Finally a new horror came out with new ideas and a story. Better than most high budget horror films. The other strange thing is the whole movie production and post production is made by a hand of a one man Akçay Karaazmak, who also played as one of the main characters.
Firstly it's not so easy to understand what's really going on. Movie can confuse you and give you questions. And through the movie maybe you can find your answers. It also makes you to think deeply sometimes. Maybe you won't find your answers at the first time. I can't just tell Reminiscence is a good horror movie, it's more then a good horror. You may find yourself in different moods in different scenes. Mix of horror, drama, sci-fi and melancholy.
I very like the coloring and general mood of the movie. It doesn't look like a block buster but it has its own style and looks different and natural. I still don't understand how this beautiful movie made with that small budget. Maybe that's because all work has done by the directer him self.
There are lots of fighting and scary scenes and the tension is almost never gets down. Movie always keeps the attention of audience. You always expect something but most of the time you see something different from what you expected. And there are very great ideas.
Movie has some weak sides in sound. Sound design is very good and interesting but sometimes some sounds are not very clear. And dialog of characters sometimes are out of the mood. For that, some scenes may look little unprofessional. But I think it's because of the budget. But shortly this movie has a big potential and it looks like Reminiscence 2 will come out as well. Which I will be very happy for that.
