I Was a Zombie for the F.B.I. (1982)
classic si fi...ryko u roc.
Out with the old n with the new...
I like this movie because of its rare style similar to the lost skeleton of cadavra.
Great no name cast.
an speaking of names
I thought the raspberry brothers should have used their real names.
though I have read a few reviews that hated this DVD because of the
changes what not in the film or score, but I think the f.b.i had something to do with this, so its the politics of DVD they should be upset with.
a classic si fi treat.
This Island Earth (1955)
classic si fi....
color as if it was needed .
well I did see the jet turn green an if they had not film'd that part in color I would have been lost. cough
I like the print quality of the DVD.
velveta style full screen.
but looking at the back of the DVD case clearly proves Faith Domergue was telling the truth. no pantie lines visible.
maybe rush'd to beat George Pal movie by 2weeks to theater I think this movie has a better story. This Island Earth is one of the best example's of a 1950's sci fi movie.
Hong Kong Phooey (1974)
From the inside ..of a kids mind.. out
I ONLY gave this an 8/10 because the series was to short. this rating reflects Hanna-Barbera more than the actual series.
HKP was short lived..shorter than dare I say Roger Ramjet.
Someone new to the series an old to mind might not appreciate the use of imagination in Hong Kong Phooey as much as a fresh clean 3 year old mind does.
The 1st an 2nd seasons of Scooby Doo is excellent example of a classic cartoon but yet to scary for my 3 year old. where as Hong Kong phooey is not.
I was very surprised to find out that Richard Dawson voiced many characters on this short lived series.
Ultraman (1966)
pure an simple
In my house we have no cable TV for a great reason. We do have a DVD player for a greater reason.
I like simple TV like the adventures of Superman faster than a speeding locomotive USA 1951,or Starman the creature made of THE strongest steel Japan 1965 an now ULTRAMAN 1966 My 3 y/o son can sing the theme song better than my 5 y/o daughter ,and my 5 y/o daughter only view'd 2 episodes 8 an 10. We watched them together a few times, my son has not view'd any. he's to young so why or how could he sing the Ultraman theme song since its not on the tube for him?
thru the minds of kids imagination follow art of life.
