Before Sunset (2004)
It's Magic
This movie is nothing less than magic. How I look at this movie is, we should watch the movie keeping aside any conventions we believe in. For example we should not think or worry at all about the fact that Jesse is married or if Jesse and Celine get together at the end. It really does not matter. We should just focus on the magic they create when they are together. We should just live like them in that particular moment and periodically looking back to the past. The best part of the movie is it created the magic between them instantly as it did in Before Sunrise.
Awesome movie
Hari-Bhari (2000)
A perfectly made movie
The best thing about the movie is the way it involves you with the story. You don't feel like watching a movie, it is like you are experiencing it as a by stander or a nieghbour. The story telling is so seamless and realistic that you don't even doubt the authenticity even for a second. The greatness of Shyam Benegal is bulging out of every frame of the movie. He shows how can you take a very common social issue and make it into an unforgettable movie. How can you take a story which seems ordinary if verbally narrated and make it into a movie with incredible depth.
All the casts are outstanding in their performance. My concluding comments are "Another master piece from the THE MASTER".
Dinner Rush (2000)
Very Enjoyable especially if you are New Yorker
This unusual but creatively enriched movie gives you a flavor of a cocktail of Italian Mob life and a fascinating New York night life. From the beginning to the end, every frame of the movie offers a different flavor quite akin to the menu of the protagonist, the restaurant. The way the typical art critique behaves with the waitress to the food critique's affinity to the Chef offer a satire to the upper class New York. It dealt craftily with the four major aspect of New York on which this great city is often identified. Art, Finance, Food and Law & Order. While the persisting enjoyment keeps you glued to your seat, it also makes you wonder about the ending and when it comes, just one word come out of your mouth "Wow!".
