Strong start, then spiralled into a complete mess.

The highjacking, Idi Amin, seperation of Jewish passengers....all very strong points in the movie.
Until the director lost his mind and decided that what a telling of a historic moment in time needed was a pretentious dance piece. And to mix that into the climax of the movie cutting in between shots of the actual raid, the part all viewers were eagerly waiting for, and which got shoved into 2 minutes of action.
If you haven't seen this movie, go read it on Wiki instead. I could have watched a great Mark Walhberg movie but i chose this flaming mess and now i regret it. Save yourself the pain.

Any historical buff (including myself) knows many of these events, characters, places do not line up or simply did not happen/exist. But by God, to hell with accuracy I say!!
I was very skeptical going into the show but it by golly it is actually very good. Of course, it won't live up to a big Hollywood flick, like Kingdom of Heaven, but this show will surprise you.
Give it a go. Stick it out till at least Season 1 episode 4. The Holy Land beckons!! DEUS VULT!!!

Boring Movie to Watch in the Dark

Let me make this short for you, dear reader. If you've seem the trailer, well be ready for a disappointment. The trailer gave off a dark and ominous tone, while the movie is....well, made for kids. I'm a huge horror fan, and if you're one too looking for a scary movie to give you a good scare, try something else. I watched this at 2am and i almost fell asleep. Trust me, doing anything else would be time better spent. Clipping your nails would probably be scarier than watching this chick flick.

I watched the trilogy back to back and I love it all. BUT that ending scene in the basement with the "lake of fire" appearing has 1990s CGI wriiten all over it.
Other than that, great movie though. The first was the best.

Pros:
1. Patrick Wilson and Vera Fermiga. 2. They nailed the theme of the era. 3. First half of the movie was up to mark.
Cons (this should take a while):
1. The plot is looser than my little niece's tooth that's about to fall off. 2. The characters Judy, Mary Ellen, Daniela and Bob were, how you say......boring. Judy was okay, she was relatable. But in the end she was fighting off demons like a pastor on steroids. Relatibility went flying out the window. 3. Let's talk demons. The lady in the wedding dress was good enough, the ferryman was good enough. But the horned demon? Come on! It was worse than a nagging mother-in-law, both in terms of visuals and its connection to the plot. And the werewolf?? Don't even get me started on the "demon" werewolf. Whoever came up with this idea SHOULD BE FIRED! It get's whacked by Bob and it dissolves into a fine mist only to magically reappear from said mist. God!! Give me patience! Like I said, SHOULD BE FIRED! 4. The jump scares were so bad its laughable. 5. Some scenes didn't even make sense. Here is an example from a list of many: The werewolf could destroy the roof of the car with ease. Now, when Bob whacked the werewolf and Daniela ran inside, where did Bob go? Did he run back into the chicken coop? The werewolf could have easily destroyed that. But no, Bob had to survive so the werewolf was cool enough to not kill him. 6. If Daniela had touched all the other objects in the room besides Annabelle, then how come they all stop when Annabelle gets put back into the glass showcase. Are the other demons and ghosts under the command of Annabelle's demon? Did they elect Annabelle's demon to lead the whole haunting fiasco? 7. There are many more of these points but I have wasted enough time already. I WILL NOT WASTE OVER TWO HOURS ON THIS MOVIE AND ITS REVIEW!
With a movie with such a potential, they went and messed it up bigtime.
Me: The Curse of La Llarona is the worst movie in the franchise. Annabelle Comes Home: Hold my beer.

If you're not a fanboy or girl of the Halloween franchise, you're gonna want to sit this one out because I'm literally watching the movie right now and it is BORING.
It really is overhyped by fans of the movie. Outside of that, with an unbiased take on the movie as a whole, the movie lacks character. It feels like another run-of-the-mill slasher movie made by some low budget production company to see if they can earn out a quick buck.
Now that I've said all that, let me finish the final scene of this movie (only because I'm extremely bored with nothing else to do).
