Page 3 (2005)
Great Story and Acting!
Page 3 is a great movie. The story is so refreshing and interesting. Not once throughout the movie did i find myself staring off into space. Konkana Sen did a good job in the movie, although i think someone with more glamour or enthusiasm would have been better, but she did do a great job. All the supporting actors were also very good and helped the movie along. Boman Irani did a great job. There is one thing that stands out in this movie THE STORY it is great, and very realistic, it doesn't beat around the bush it is very straight forward in sending out its message. I think more movie like this should be made, i am sick of watching the same candy floss movies over and over, they are getting hard to digest now. Everyone should watch Page 3, it is a great film. -Just my 2 cents :)
Kaal (2005)
Finally a movie with a NEW idea! 2 Thumbs up!
I thought Kaal was a very good movie, i just saw it and i loved it. I think it is great that film makers are trying to think out of the box. I mean how many times can you watch two girls in love with the same guy, its not easy to digest anymore. I thought the performances were very good. Ajay Devgan was very convincing in his role as the man who helps them escape from the man-eating tigers. John Abhraham shows great talent and fits his character to the T. Vivek Oberoi is good enough in his role, for once his role of the care free guy fits him. Lara Dutta and Esha Deol don't serve too much purpose in the movie, besides aid in some scary tiger encounters, but they do look stunning in the movie. Soham did a great job, the tigers look really good and realistic. Plus its only two hours long, lately i am finding it harder and harder to sit through a 3 hour long movie. The songs are fabulous, especially Tauba Tauba at the end, and Kaal Dhamal in the credits. Shahrukh Khan and Malaika Arora look sizzling together! I think everyone should go see this movie, and appreciate it for its attempt to present something new to the audience. So go to the theaters with an open mind, and have a great time, i think it will be a hit around the world. -just my 2 cents :)
