Picket Fences: Liver Let Die (1996)
a touching, funny, thought-provoking David E. Kelly family story woven from current news and topics of interest,
This is another of the great successes by David E. Kelly with humor, brains, a wise judge, a clever and humorous lawyer, the doctor-wife, the sheriff-husband, and children from two marriages. The actors are always believable, and the story line carries through the ages of the children, teenagers, and adults, creating a series of stories within each episode. I always enjoy the dilemmas that the judge must handle, and the real-life dramas of the various couples. This series provokes the observer with emotions that run the gambit, but almost always leave a subject ready for discussion because of moral values that are challenged. I really enjoyed the series, and the actors Ray Walston, Fyvush Finkel, and Tom Skerritt. Perhaps we will all be lucky enough SOON to see this series returned to the public. Please!
