WHAT IS THIS

How is this made by M. Night Shyamalan?? Unfortunately one of the worst movies I've seen in a while. Ridiculous dialogue, bad acting, bad writing... hard to think of something that i liked, which is weird as a M. Night fan.

Euphoria (2019– )

Season 2 ruins it

Wtf happened with the writing of this show? Yeah Zendaya's performance (and some others) are amazing but the writing just RUINS it!

Feels all over the place, some characters get forgotten, very stupid plot points u just can't believe would happen in the world of the show.

Yup the style and cinematography are very cool too but could be so much better.

The Matrix Resurrections (I) (2021)

Solid start, meta and cool take of the Matrix itself in the movie. Sadly lost me in the second act.

Best part about it is definitely Neil Patrick Harris, the only one that feels like he's really trying to do something in this movie, the rest come across like there not trying too much.

The action scenes are not that good at all, Neo has a boring and uninteresting new power that makes things less visual and cool.

Overall won't recommend unless ur a huge fan of Matrix😕

I would never imagine we would get this movie. My theater went wild.

Constantly surprising, clever, really well acted and so many actors reprise their roles it's shocking.

Looper (2012)

The movie starts really well with a cool premise but then becomes something different (in a bad way).

It turns out all over the place, it has poor action scenes, and has a bunch of scenes that feel very outdated.

Seeing Marvel experimenting with WandaVision and now this I'm impressed with how they make these shows original and relevant.

Yup the show could have been written better (Flag-smashers could have been more well realized + John Walker wasn't dealt that well in the finale) Overall show was strong and emotional but still fun to watch and follow.

The Queen's Gambit (2020)

What a show!!!

This mini series was amazing. Biggest surprise of the year, and a cultural phenomenon.

The chess games are literally like action scenes full of suspense and thrill. The show is full of great characters and Anya Taylor-Joy carries the show so well. Beautiful production value, greatly written and acted. What's not to love?

Strongly recommend!

Batman: The Killing Joke (2016)

Thought it'll be a lot better

I heard a lot about this movie, so I thought i'll give it a try and watched it. Probably my first DC animated movie... some moments we're cool, and it's pretty short so it doesn't get boring, but it felt uneven and kind of a mess.

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

I found it worth watching! It had fun moments, and I love Gal as WW, but definitely had problems in the script and no epic moments like the no man's land fight in the original.

It could have been a lot better!! Why not use the greek mythology more and do something cool? Why a wishing stone?😔 DC has to start working harder. We're tired of the DC hate...

Still, doesn't deserve at all the hate it's getting! Recommend to check it out.

Death to 2020 (2020 TV Special)

Funny, but could have been much better!

Liked the idea! Lots of hilarious moments and funny actors. Sadly it heavily goes into American politics instead of talking about more global issues that would have benefited from the attention like problems in Middle East, Europe and basically anything else. Great idea though and hope we'll have something fun and better for 2021.

Tenet (2020)

By this point Christopher Nolan is probably the biggest star in the film. He continues to create beautiful visuals and concepts that make you think and sit on the edge of your seat the whole movie making sure you're following and not missing a thing.

Loved the action, the concept, and the scope of the film that made me wish I was watching it in theaters like Nolan intended.

Shutter Island (2010)

This movie caught me off guard. Didn't think it'll be so good, probably because I didn't hear about it enough. But apparently it's just very overlooked. DiCaprio is amazing, beautiful shots and scenes, great screenplay. Have to watch again.

How didn't I watch this movie until now??? Loved it so much. Great performances by actors we all know and love, amazing script hiding a lot of surprises and tricks just like the magic it's all about.

One thing that I disliked a bit was something with the Tesla storyline.

Anyways, strongly recommend!

If you like Will Ferrel you'll probably like this. It's a little stupid at times, but aware of what it is. It's funny, songs are good and shows fun to watch.

Dark: Lügen (2017) Season 1, Episode 2

I'm just starting the series but this episode almost made me stop :/ Is was just too slow and felt like nothing really was happening. The ending was what saved it from me and I'll try to continue to see if it's really good like everyone is claiming it to be.

Watched it with friends, all of us were laughing non stop. Great actors, great pacing, great message, funny plot. What's not to like? P. S. Thank God there wasn't a couple mean and stupid bunch of girls like in so many films these days🙄- The movie feels real!
