Thirst (1998)
The movie Thirst, they used a ozone generator?
I saw a movie more than ten years ago about people in a town somewhere in Southern California getting sick and dying from drinking water that has been contaminated with parasites! The scientist and engineers thought they got the problem solved by replacing the filtration system and there was still parasites getting through the water filtration system! Then they stumbled upon the idea to come up killing the parasites and purifying the water by making a using a powerful ozone generator. I wonder if this is the movie i saw years ago(?) I only saw the movie once. I clearly remember the movie ends where they used the ozone generator and the water came out clear of parasites! Is this the movie??
Caltiki il mostro immortale (1959)
Better than the Blob
This movie was better than Steve's McQueens Blob movie which was okay, but i thought Caltiki's story was more interesting and the effects was very good for the period of time that it came out. The effects was a okay in my book and when i saw it as a kid in the early 1960's, it scared the day lights out of me! I think it is one of the best movies of blob like movies that i ever did see. There's a lot of good movies within the past 60 some odd years that had blob like creatures or single cell protoplasm creatures in them. This i feel is one of the BEST films i ever did see. None hold barred! Caltiki the Immortal Monster is the best movie i ever saw and i highly recommend it to anyone!
Braindead (1992)
It was Sooooooooooo gross, i LOVED it!
First time i saw this movie was on cox cable t.v. The SCI-FI channel. It was back in 1999 when i first saw it. I wasn't too sure if i was gonna get scared or laugh my head off! It was gory and gross out and i laughed myself silly when i saw what happens to the guy's gigantic mom bursting out of the roof like King Kong bursting out of a African grass hut, cussing her son out!
We rented the movie on video and watched it again. My mom and dad watched it with me and my mom laughed her head off. My Girlfriend laughed and freaked out at certain segments of the movie. My girlfriend said that "What kind of a horror movie is this"? I told her "I can't tell if i'm supposed to get scared or laugh?!" She said she liked it so much she said "I think that was gross... I loved it!"
Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (1973)
The coolest Horror flick I saw in 1973!
I saw this flick twice years ago, and wanted to get it on video and couldn't remember the name. I went to a "horror forum" website and mention William Demarest in a early 70's flick. Now, I would like to get this film! The 2 times I saw this creepy movie, I couldn't go to bed at night! My mom saw it with me and she explained it to my dad and when it was on again several years later, he watched it! Each time we had a power outage my dad would shine a flashlight at me and put on an act like he's seeing a creepy creature! I think my dad really like that horror flick more than I did! I thought it was the coolest horror flick i saw that year.
