This film captures the spirit i was possessed by whilst a teenager, i love it achingly. Not for everyone. For one thing, don't expect a plot driven film, that's just silly to expect here, expect a decadent period piece, with eye popping visuals and hippie excess. For me it's one of the best things i'll ever see!

This is great achievement in entertainment, it's like it invents its own language. I feel like re-watching the whole thing soon, and it will be a whole new experience. Amazing work Sam, Rami, Christian, and the rest of the cast and crew. Love Portia Doubleday.

Manos has a great reputation, but it isn't true, the trully worst movies aren't even noteworthy, this however sits securely in the bad pantheon along with the works of Andy Milligan, Herschell Gordon Lewis, and Ed Wood. For me the best worst movie remains 1989's Things. I need in my collection now - Birdemic, The Room and Troll 2.
