Ramy (2019)
From worse to worse
Season one was great and I loved it because it really represented my issues as an Arab living in the US. Season 2 was a little awkward because they prolonged the issues of his friends and it wasn't funny at all. The marriage or divorce wasn't even convincing at all and he stares all the time in a shocked mode. Season three I only watched 4 episodes and they were enough to give it an overall of 1/10 stars. None of it was funny or relates to the Arab expatriates in the US. Things became silly and not funny and the drama isn't in it place. Ramy needs to do better script that's more realistic. I'm done.
Another One (2022)
It's just ok
The movie was funny but not as funny as I expected it to be. Ahmed Helmy made a good movie to deliver the same message that was in so many different arabic movies which is "cherish your own self and be confident of your capabilities" but it wasn't up to Helmy's potential.
The Passage (2019)
Very impressive piece of work. Egyptians keep writing the history over again
No words can describe how amazing this movie is. the only bad side is it lacks a scene of truth of showing the actual locations on the map and the pics of the real Egyptian heros that this work belong to

Amazing story
Ahmed Dawood is an amazing actor and able to deliver the feelings in many parts of this movie which is something he's been known for.
The story is lacking some important critical parts like how was he able to come back to the hospital to save Amina and how fast that was after he's been in a comma in the doctors car.
The ending could have been more real and meaningful.
The cops special appearance should have added more spices to the story. they just made it simple and dump.
What happened to the baby! this is unreal because if the baby died, the recovery shouldn't have been that fast and/ or shown the miscarriage symptoms.
I liked that at the end of the movie he appreciated her being with him even though he has a lot of money. This sincerely loving guy wouldn't sell her out no matter what and that's the most beautiful thing in the story that he's never given up on her.
I was also waiting for the theme song "Bahebak" at the end of the movie but it wasn't there
