Kidman, Grant, Sutherland! Thought l was in for a real masterpiece! I kept resisting the impression l had had from episode 1, in vain... even the performances are fake! There's not a single thing to praise about this series! Waste of time and money for HBO, l don't get the high ratings! it's boring, superficial, not even a good plot twist... just nothing

Not that drawn or engaged to the initial storyline or characters. Find the children performances rather artificial. Probably too early to judge but having been waiting on tenterhooks since Haunted expectations are so high. Fingers crossed this doesn't just evolve into just another "ghost story" with cliché jumps and scares.

Great acting, interesting premise, but all quite predictable even the final sequence. No jaw dropping effect like the first episodes of seasons one and two. Will want to see something very unexpected or some ingenious twist plot can evolve out of this prologue

It's ridiculous how this show is just progressively going down the drain! One episode to go and literally nothing that matters happens! Shame it had a promising start but actually one may as well just read the synopsis of episodes say 5-9 on Wikipedia and just jump to the finale to see what all this boils down to eventually. Movie or miniseries material at most. Very disappointed and frustrating
I rarely review TV but this is extraordinary!

An absolute masterpiece of television, a whole new par that I believe will be hard to surpass for a long time. Deeply horrifying, disturbing, heartbreaking, yet kind of liberating too. Incredible writing, acting, editing, directing, everything is spot on and every effective. Hats off to the creators of this perfect piece of drama that kept me numb for a few days after watching it.

Whenever I see such a horrible, horrible movie I can't help but wonder why people make such total waste of time cinema?! Why would anyone produce and star in this awful movie? Low budget does not mean to throw non-watchable motion pictures at our faces! The only thing I can say about this movie is that the scene of one of the characters taking a dump truly represents it! Pure crap! Unbelievable characters with no background or depth, ridiculous plot, unexplained events, motives, actions, doped girl that just wakes up to scream and is put to sleep all the time and stupid end and the list of absurdities go on and on and on, let alone that 80% of the dialogue is the F word! I never saw a movie in which all characters keep swearing all the time using this word in almost each sentence they utter! Stop making such awful, infuriating movies for God's sake!

A true awful experience. This must be the worst movie, if it can be called a movie, that I have watched in years. I knew it was not superior intelligent horror picture or even close, but for the life of me, I am both stunned and appalled at why and how do some filmmakers stoop this low with such pile of rubbish! Don't go near this horrid waste of 90 minutes of your life. It is a revolting mix of ridiculous gore, cannibalism, or silly special effects that should have vanished since the 70s, extreme nudity, repeated revolting rape scenes and cheap sexual content all through. Needless to say, acting is preposterous,along with every other aspect of the movie itself, including a plot with enough loopholes to let an elephant through, plus the absurdity of all the events and characters and absence of logic all through. And when they try to throw in a humane dimension in the form of a lesbian relationship and parenthood (regardless of the difference it'd make had it been a straight one), this is all totally in vain for the sake of a horribly silly ending any moron would have came up with a better if given a shot at writing the script. Can't help but feel totally angry and frustrated. Need to go watch some other movie to erase the after taste of this disaster.

Magnificent performance by the leading actors, and even supporting roles. Incredible set, photography, costumes, script, direction, you name it. A true chef d'oeuvre and a feast for the senses. Cotillard is out of this world in almost every scene she appears in, I would not be surprised at all if she sealed an Oscar next year, or at least a nomination. Phoenix had an outstanding performance in this emotionally charged brilliantly written and directed movie about the very depths of human nature, lust, love, greed, survival, good and evil. Renner was great too, within the frame of his role, with some unexpected events as the story unfolds. This is not a movie where you can predict exactly what will happen next, you just sit back and live this amazing movie experience and thank God such great pictures are still made. A couple of hours of my life very well spent.

Horrible movie, slow moving, boring, amateurish acting, silly naive plot, just pure waste of time. One of the worst movies I've ever seen this year. It really amazes me why would anybody make such bad movies with obvious weak script, cast, everything. It is disappointing to start off with high expectations for something thrilling that gets you glued to the screen but eventually you keep looking at your watch, when will things start to happen? Then, when will anything happen and it is a bit of a challenge to make out the ingenuous plot whether there is something spiritual going on or is it just some kind of hallucinations. Stay away from it unless you want to squander 80 minutes of your life.
