Blonde (2022)
Excellent Movie but Very Sad
I think the leading actress, Ana de Armas, did a terrific job, it almost felt as though I was watching Marilyn Monroe acting. I hope she wins an Academy Award for her performance, it was a tough job portraying Marilyn. The movie itself, although it wasn't exactly what I normally watch, I thought it was excellent. I felt sorry for Marilyn Monroe, although parts of the story were untrue, she was in real life very unlucky and should've had more happiness. So sad that she died so young and had to go through some grueling times. Pity she didn't live in his day and age when women don't have it as bad as the time Marilyn lived in.
Father of the Bride (2022)
Very Enjoyable
Loved this movie, it was fun to watch, I liked all the actors in it. I've watched a couple of other movies with the same titles and thought it wouldn't be good, but really had a nice time watching it. I loved the Latino theme in it.
Julia (2022)
Fun to Watch
I really love watching this series, it's delightful! I'm a big fan of Meryl Streep and I enjoyed watching her as Julia Child but I think Sarah Lancashire does a better job, she's so much fun to watch and she certainly does deserve some award, a wonderful actress! I love all the other actors in the series, especially David Hyde Pierce as Julia's husband.
Emily in Paris (2020)
Beautiful Paris
I loved this series, it was fun and relaxing to watch, along with the beautiful scenes of Paris. Emily was lovely and I really liked all of the French actors with their French accents in it. Pity there's no series 3.
Annika (2021)
Very Disappointing
Sorry, but couldn't watch more than 15 minutes of this. I'm a big fan of Nicola Walker so I was very disappointed to see her talking to the camera. Perhaps if this stopped along with the silly comments then it might be saved.
Call Me Kat (2021)
Kat? Don't Think So
I wasn't able to watch the first episode to the end. It felt like a very bad copy of the Miranda series which I used to love to watch.
Hillbilly Elegy (2020)
Excellent Movie
Quite a long movie but I ha my eyes glued on the screen all the time. Very moving story and superb acting by Glenn Close and Amy Adams.
Little Fires Everywhere: Find a Way (2020)
Bad Ending
I had hoped that the ending would be worth watching, but it wasn't. It felt unfinished, I think there should've been more to the story.
The Hour (2011)
Pity no season 3
Really enjoyed each episode except for the last one of season 2, I felt it could've been a lot better. I liked all the actors and thought they did a great job in acting.
The Young Pope (2016)
Not to My Liking
Could only watch around ten minutes of it. I just didn't like the Pope's character.
Great Balls of Fire! (1989)
Great!
Just watched this movie for the third time, I love it, it's so much fun to watch!
