The Superior Series: Gen V Delivers a Gripping and Relatable Storyline, Outshining 'The Boys'!

I found this series, Gen V, to be better than "The Boys" because it revolves around young people that I can relate to. Unlike "The Boys," this series is not solely focused on hyper-masculine themes and is less gruesome and cruel. Overall, I believe Gen V has a superior storytelling approach compared to "The Boys" in my opinion. While "The Boys" may cater more towards a male audience, Gen V is suitable for everyone who enjoys watching series or movies featuring younger characters. I also noticed that Gen V is not as cruel as "The Boys" and the overall storyline is more captivating and engaging to follow. However, although Gen V is set in a university environment, it may be too intense for younger teens to watch. It is definitely an 18+ series, and I would rate it as an 8 out of 10.

Wilderness (2023)

I did not enjoy this series at all. It progresses slowly and lacks excitement. However, the lead actress delivers a commendable performance. Unfortunately, the storyline is cringeworthy and the detective's investigation appears amateurish. I cannot recommend investing your time in this TV series. For its weak storyline, slow pace, and unsatisfying ending, I would rate it 2/10 instead of 1/10, solely acknowledging the lead actress's talent. This series lacks depth and offers a distasteful representation of infidelity and the events leading up to a significant occurrence are objectionable. The writing and ending are both subpar. I strongly recommend against watching it.

Fair Play (2023)

Good acting, especially by Phoebe Dynevor. This movie shows what it is like to work on Wall Street as a woman in a male-dominated, fast, and challenging environment. Additionally, the film provides a compelling portrayal of being in a toxic relationship. It also depicts the struggles of jealousy faced by a man towards his (secret) girlfriend/fiancé who is promoted within the same company and department as he work for. Both actors deliver strong performances, and the storyline builds up effectively, leaving the audience wanting more during the tense moments. I would give this movie a 7/10 rating, and Phoebe Dynevor deserves recognition and possible award nominations for her role in this film.

Very slow series, wish I had a speed button, never the less you want to know how the story develops. Lily-rose Depp plays her role well and it's exactly how I would imagine a twisted celebrity to be, it's all smoke and mirrors but her real life in the mansion isn't as flowery. The Weekend his role is just cringe, his lines are awful, but what he manages to do is being a creep and that is exactly the character he plays is a creep. Episode 3 gets better and I am still curious about the other episodes to come. My only wish is for HBO Max to have a speed-up button like Netflix. Give the show a try if you want to have a look into a twisted celebrity her life.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023)

The Queen Charlotte series is far superior to the original Bridgerton series. The two starring actors had greater chemistry and performed better together than the two other season 1 and 2 leading couples of the original series. I'd like to see more miniseries. The first and second Bridgerton series is far too corny. The Queen Charlotte series managed to provide complexity and food for thought. That is exactly what I am missing from the original Bridgerton series. I hope they continue to do miniseries. Because this mini-series, and hopefully future ones, have a more in-depth story and they now have two leading actors who can act. The main plot of the two starring players is the finest, so I give it an 8/10. The miniseries' various side storylines aren't always engaging. 6/10 for that; after four episodes, I skipped those parts since they were a little too long, and I focused on the main plot of the two characters because it was the most engaging. Overall, the primary tale is excellent, and I recommend that you stick to it if you get tired of the other minor characters. My overall rating for this miniseries is 7.5/10.

The Invitation (II) (2022)

The 2 leading actors are good actors and convincing. Liked the story and you want to keep on watching. It's not your typical horror movie if you like a lot of scares then this is not your movie. Not to spoil anything but the horror characters are a must-watch for people who love a certain type of fantasy genre, I won't spoil anything but if you are into fantasy this is for you! And this movie could be turned into a tv series of some sort. So if you like your typical horror don't watch this it probably would bore you, but if you like movies with an actual story involved then watch this. It's a 6/10 because the movie kept me wondering and the story as well and the actors did a great job. 👏👏👏

Citadel (2023– )

I am 3 episodes in and the Citadel series on Amazon Prime is really good. There is a good storyline as well. You immediately get dragged into the story and want to keep watching. The acting of both Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra is really good! Right from the trailer I knew I wanted to watch it and it doesn't disappoint. It's too bad that Amazon Prime doesn't release every episode right away and that you have to wait for the next episode to release. That's the only downside. Not any complaints further. If you watched the trailer and this is your kind of genre and tv series then please watch it, telling you it won't disappoint. Right now I am in between a 7.5/10 and 8/10 and I am usually very critical so that says a lot that I rate this series highly.

I personally enjoyed this movie and would give it a 7 out of 10. While I don't agree with some of the negative reviews by critics, I acknowledge that everyone has different tastes in movies. For me, I found the story good and the chemistry between Chris Evans and Anna de Armas was ok. However, I do think that Chris Evans's chemistry and comedy with Jenny Slate in the 2017 movie 'Gifted' was much better. Anna de Armas' acting impressed me, she did a great job playing a spy in this movie and although Chris Evans didn't play a superhero or spy in this movie this wasn't his best performance, he did do just ok. Additionally, I appreciated that the movie wasn't too long and the change of scenes in different countries was impressive. However, I do think the trailer gives away too much, so it's best to avoid it. While the story didn't keep me guessing, I still found it engaging and worth watching. Overall, I would recommend this movie, especially if you're a fan of action, adventure, comedy, and a bit of romance. Catch it on Apple TV+!

I watched this early in the theater through Prime. The movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023) is a movie that fails to deliver on every level. From the bad acting, especially Regé-Jean Page who plays Xenk, to the weak plot and lack of originality, there's nothing that makes this movie worth watching. I was hoping for a fun and thrilling ride, but instead, I got a forgettable mess that wasted my time. If you'e looking for a good action/fantasy movie, there are plenty of other options out there that are worth your time.

This movie is below my expectations. Not as good as the media wants you to believe. The acting was good, but the storyline is so weird. It's a very weird and quirky movie and it's not for everyone. This movie is overhyped and I certainly don't understand why the actors in this movie have received awards. They acted okay but was it price worthy? No. They should have received awards for other projects they have done but not for this overhyped mediocre movie. It isn't that good of a movie the media want you to believe. I honestly think I wasted my time watching this movie. It was a letdown. Don't recommend watching it. This movie is a failure.

Where the Crawdads Sing (2022)

Loved the book and had high hopes for the movie. Unfortunately, they didn't nail this movie. It felt rushed and they missed important details of the book. I also think the actress who plays Kaya didn't match the character she was playing. The main character is supposed to be a bit weird and shrinking because she grew up all alone outside of civilisation. Daisy the actress didn't nail that important detail. As for the actor who played Tate, it was like he summed up his lines. Too bad, they could have chosen a better actor. I recommend reading the book instead of watching 2 hours of this movie. The production and acting could have been so much better. So in conclusion read the book instead of wasting 2 hours of your time on a movie that didn't nail it on the head. Hello Sunshine please do better when producing books into a movie this was a total letdown. Expected better from this production company.

This series has a good storyline, good acting, and good special effects and once you start you get dragged into the story. It's binge-watch-worthy, although I recommend not watching it in one sit, because it gets heavy sometimes. It's a 16+ series because it gets violent and very cruel. I give this series an 8,5 out of 10. It is that good, if you like fantasy, action and a good storyline this is your cup of tea. Hope season 2 is made soon. It's also price worthy of special effects for example. Netflix doesn't have good series about witches until The Bastard son and the devil himself. Thank god they finally made a good series about witches and magic because every other series with magic was meh on Netflix. Do watch The Bastard Son and the Devil himself on Netflix I recommend it 100%.

Wow superb series if you like fantasy, action, schandals and a bit of romance. The older version of two female main actors were better at acting, but overall everyone did great at performing their characters. The storyline is superb, I was captuvated at every episode from beginning to end. I still have to watch Game of Thrones but this series "House of the Dragon" is top notch. This is a must watch if you like this kind of genre. This series is for adults as it sometimes gets very violent, rough and explicit 18+. I hope the series wins awards and I hope they will make a season 2. Rating: 9/10 yes it's very good 👍🏻 Go watch it now on HBO!

Never believe someone that looks like he/she is having a perfect live and looks happy on social media and/or shows the jetset life because it is all fake.
