Facing Fear (2022)
I Loved This Movie
You'd imagine that if you gathered a panel of leading experts from across the spectrum of biological science, psychology, spirituality, metaphysics, and mystics that you'd find a fair bit of disagreement. Well, not here. Even though each of filmmaker Bill Bennet's interviewees stated what they were saying in a slight different way, there was an obvious sense of agreement on the subject of fear. What it is, how it affects us, how to respond to it.
Yep, there were some real crackpots featured in it (and depending who you are who they are will probably differ), but honestly, even the people whose worldview was not mine made sense and said helpful things. I genuinely found the theme of this film and the information shared helpful.
I was also delighted to discover that for the most part, my life is no longer marked by fear. It had been previously, but thanks to TRTP - the trauma therapy featured in the film - fear, phobias, anxiety, depression, and stress no longer rule me like they did in the past. It was such a delight to watch a film on fear, find incredible agreement with so many of what it is, but also know that I've found an effective way to face it.
