This movie is cheesy as hell. Everything about it is bad, from the production level to the dialogue, to the acting to the plot. But that's part of the fun with slashers, and I do have a soft spot for cheap early 2000s horror.
I have two big problems with this film; well more like one big one and one minor one. The minor one is the music- I have no problem with the songs themselves, but there are far too many scenes with music in the background, almost all of it is padding where the characters are just having sex or playing around. It kind of seems like they just wanted to showcase their cool soundtrack.
My second issue is that there are only 4 characters they even let us get to know- not that even these characters have more than the most rudimentary character development, but the rest don't even have that that, they just show an actor twice or three times and we have no idea who they are. The problem is that of the four characters they let us get to know, they kill off the one we're most invested in first! They literally decide to kill the most likeable character right away and then leave us with just completely random bodies to kill off after that. The reveal was pretty fun but most of the movie was, unfortunately, boring.
So, it's kind of so-bad-its-good, but... it's also just bad.
