I agree with most of the reviews here: the first two seasons are great, though the 3rd season is not really that terrible. I liked the concept and the story, but it was so badly written that it just failed to get its intended message across.
Season 1 (Cora) was so intense and perhaps one of the best series I have seen this year. Season 2 (Julian) was also really good; not as intense as the story of Cora but still quite gripping with very interesting characters. Season 3 (Jamie) on the other hand was just a missed opportunity. Jamie would have been a very complex character but the script was just so poor that it trivialized him as this uninteresting guy having an existential crisis who ends up killing some people. There was not enough depth to the story to make viewers empathize with him, which I believe it should have done because I'm pretty sure Jamie's thoughts are actually relatable to many people dealing with mental health issues. Instead, the script just let him ramble on and on without enough context of what led him to think the way he did, thus giving the viewers no reason to care about this guy at all. All that being said, I still finished the season and I would not call it a waste of time. The underlying story itself is compelling and I wish it would be re-made but with better writers.
