Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Spiderwoman vs Conman and Rumpleteazer
Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, and Pedro Pascal do their very best with a script and plot that is just bad. I mean awful. This movie is 2 hours of WW lassoing around swinging several miles into the sky tied together with villains that are shallow (Max Lord) or simply laughable (Cheetah). Apparently The Force is with Max Lord, who somehow breaks the magic code by wishing for all the wishes, which is not even remotely touched on until the third act as having a price.
All in all, it's decent if all you want is to see Gal Gadot sprinkle pixie dust and learn to fly. If you want a plot of 80s greed villain, there are better choices.
Future Man (2017)
If you like witty fun...
Do you like unexpectedly deep characters, call outs to literally everything from the 80s and 90s, a spoof of time travel, and Haley Joel Osmond as an evil... well, everything? Congrats, you have a new favorite show!
The Good Fight: Day 464 (2018)
Also starring Donald Trump
Oh hey it's a Trump episode. Living in these writers' roundtable rent free. So many Trump episodes he should really be in the credits and getting royalty checks.
The Good Fight: Day 450 (2018)
Pre-Impeachment hysteria
This episode discusses, in detail, the arguments that the Left used to impeach.
They literally just launch lies at each other and say the truth doesn't matter. It would fun if it hadn't played out exactly like this.
Nightlife (1989)
Campy and Fun
This is actually a VERY fun, goofball vampire romantic comedy. You'd almost never guess the witty banter to be found in it, but if you ever get a chance to watch this movie TAKE THAT CHANCE. It makes no pretense about what it is, there is no over-acting, no scenery chewing. Just a fun spin on a vampire-in-love movie.
The Witcher (2019)
In Medias Res
The viewer is dumped into a full fledged world without context, which would be fine if any of it was explained before moving on to the next item on the list. Too many concurrent storylines are thrown too fast, poorly explained, and never given time to develop in early episodes. Episodes appear to jump forward and backward in time (are they flashbacks? They might be. We don't know.)
If you want to see the main character (who does amazing given what he's working with) do top-notch fight choreography, watch this. Otherwise give it a pass.
