The Ipcress File (2022)
Look past the Yvan's for the spy with no name...
So wanted this to disappoint, however with a little back story it does entertain.
If you're expecting a Micklewhite pastiche then jog on, you won't get one.
At first I fully expected this to be the first in a series of three like the films, but there are subtle elements of all three in this six part story. The class war, bigotry & righteousness is very well done. Character expansion & in some cases amalgamation is very good, the period, costuming & even modernism is excellent.
Each to their own & I enjoyed it.
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Royals & Loyals (2010)
Oh dear oh dear...
I do like this series, but like so many Fox programmes the British Stereotypes are woeful!!!
Far too many mistakes to list...
Brit Marine Uniform
Secret Service Uniform Division
Mobile Phone Number
Etc etc etc
Only one decent Brit Accent
Really should get a knowledgeable consultant!!!
Bones: The Yanks in the U.K.: Parts 1 and 2 (2008)
Continuity!!!
Let's avoid the highly inaccurate stereotypes of the UK...
The continuity of the Mini driving through the City, is the worst I've ever seen on screen!! Yes, even worse than Brannigan.
Procedural script wasn't even close to reality, in fact highly illegal.
Please don't try this again, it's insulting & atypical.
