No Man's Law (2021)
I WANTED to Like This Movie...but...
I really did want to like this movie. The plot was decent enough, the lead actor does a relatively decent job of acting, but other than that, the actors are really, really bad. The filming is really, really bad.
The movie doesn't give you any background information regarding the little girl. It doesn't delve into what happened to her and how she ended up there. She says almost zero words (even though he speaks Spanish to her). It almost insinuating that because she doesn't speak or understand English, that she cannot speak lol. I can't figure out the reasoning behind that decision.
Do yourself a favor and pass on this one unless you don't mind sitting through mind numbing (almost comical) "acting".
On a Wing and a Prayer (2023)
Man oh Man...Where to Begin??
I don't even know where to begin. I had high hopes for this movie since it had well known actors - Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham. I know that they aren't highly acclaimed actors, but still...I had no idea it would be this bad. So many bad cliches, so much bad acting. I can't even point to a single scene that was horrible because they pretty much all are. The two kids who were narrating the story (which I guess is the point of them even being in the film) are exceedingly annoying and unbelievable. I won't give any spoilers, but the "this is going to hurt you more than it hurts me" was absolutely ridiculous. Did a writer write this screenplay or was it a middle school film project? If I had to guess, I would say the latter. Don't waste your time on this one.
Pamela, a Love Story (2023)
WOW!! Just WOW!!
I'm a 58 year old mom of five and grandmother of two. I grew up just raising my eyebrows at Pamela Anderson. I always thought she was just another dumb blonde bimbo who gets by on her body and her looks. I just decided to watch this because I was bored and scrolling through things to watch on Netflix.
If you thought the same thing, this is a must see. Pamela is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She is smart, funny, and the relationship she has with her kids is amazing. You can tell by their interactions with each other how much they love her and how much she loves them.
She has been through a lot in her life and it hasn't jaded her! She's engaging and funny. She's a romantic at heart and keeps looking for that one relationship that will makes her feel safe and loved. I believe that Tommy Lee is her one true love.
This is a must see - you get to see the real Pamela Anderson. She's an amazing person.
The Line (2021)
WOW....just wow...
This is a must see eye opening documentary. I remember this case happening and being in the news 24/7 for a while. I had no idea of the depth of this story and the implications. Leaves you wondering about the "justice system" in this great country.
Haunted: Ward of Evil (2019)
Somewhat Entertaining
Ripped right out of the movie "The Exorcist", there are no surprises in this episode. Sadly, since this was a "docu-series", I thought that this would be real life ghostly type encounters. I was mistaken...this is scripted actors and non-believable events that aren't even new material. I would give this a big pass.
