I'm a sucker for an Ed Harris movie, but I was more than both satisfied with his performance as an even tempered post-sheriff rancher who suffers great loss and still retains a value structure that is fair-handed.
This story is a modern commentary on both the plight of the U.S.'s southern neighbors, irresponsible youth, and the prejudice of hate-driven Americans towards those seeking refuge.
Ed Harris is terrific in his role as well as the supporting characters. Despite me feeling sad through much of the movie the ending left me believing that there is still hope that the people of this country will be reasonable and sensitive.
